Thanks a lot for this well informed lecture but I wonder if after the first algorythm there was 3or4 parameters positive which include [average E/Eprime above 14 , LT atrium volume index above 34ml/square meter BSA and TR maximum velocity above 2.8m/sec so I automatically can label the patient as diastolic dysfunction with elevated filling pressure and I search for grade 2 or 3 because this patient is impossible to be grade 1 with only diastolic dysfunction
Parabéns pela aula Professor. Estou com uma dúvida. Na análise da inicial em paciente com FE normal a relação E\A não importa? Exs: pct 50 anos , hipertenso. 1) Relação E\A = 0,7 e’septal: 8 e’ lat : 11 E\e’: 6,4 VAE: 31 RT : 2,6 ( zero critério= NORMAL? ) 2) Relação E\A= 1,4 e’septal: 8 e’ lat : 11 E\e’: 6,4 VAE: 31 RT : 2,6 (0 critério = NORMAL? ) 3) Relação E\A= 0,6 e’: 6 e’ lat : 9 E\e’: 10 VAE: 31 RT : 2,6 ( 1 critério = normal? )
Great video, thank you for posting this, on behalf of the Costa Rican Cardio-Resident team :)

Excellent presentation.
