Solo Truck Camping & Kayak Fishing On Crown Land. A Visit From A Conservation Officer !!!

I found a great spot on some crown land to set up a solo camp for a few days.
I did bit of Kayak fishing , hiking and some good o"l me time. Bass season wasn't open yet like I thought for that zone so I didn't really catch much worth showing.
Also had a visit from the conservation officer while he was out checking for people having fires during a fire ban... Someone got busted !!!
Had a different way of eating sausage dogs and some amazing camp style philly cheese steaks for dinner too.

That might have been the frame to the dining tent I lost in that tornado, someone must have pulled it out if the woods bécause we couldn't find it.

It was really nice of your neighbors to let you fish on their boat dock and camp in their spot.
Looks like Shaggy's moving in😁, surprised Shaggy didn't show up for some Philly Cheesesteak. Absolutely fantastic meals.
Actually that dock floated over from a cottage 2 years ago and never made it back lol. No one owns the dock now just the people that show up to use it.
I still talk to shaggy to this day. We are setting up a trip for late summer.

@@gittngolol, yeah, I know you said it was public land. I was being facetious, because you're neighbors had shit everywhere, they could have at least put the paddle and chair away, or out of the way when it wasn't being used to free up the dock a bit. It was even tight getting your kayak in.

Awesome bro 👌 wish I had your set up including truck!!! Maybe one day. I work hard and make good money but the family and home life costs a decent amount here in NYS.
I hear ya buddy. This day in age it’s hard to find extra cash for anything. If there is one piece of advice I could give you is … you don’t need a rig like mine or anyone’s else to just GITT & Go. All you need is a vehicle to get you where you wanna go, a comfortable place to sleep and a few totes or bins to store some gear in. Those 3 and a bit of imagination you’ll be amazed what you come up with. Everything else is a luxury. It’s taking me years to build up the gear I have. I still need to save up to upgrade what I have now. My rig is very basic compared to some. But again , It’s all for convenience for me. I don’t need it to get out and do what I love doing it’s just more convenient for me to have what I have.

It was just a cheap brand from Walmart I honestly can’t remember the name of it sorry. It does ware out fast though.
