Great job, Craig you know we think the UG are the best, and we’ve made several as well from scratch, and also refurbished old ones that other people threw away….. This was a great build, and hands down under gravel always wins when it comes to simplicity cost maintenance and function
That's the first undergravel filter I've ever seen that doesn't have mesh across the top. It might sound like a stupid question, but where does all the detritus go?
It is captured in the gravel. Then you can gravel vac it out. Thanks for watching. Been using them for 47 years and never had a problem. Still one of the best filtration systems in my opinion. Cheap to run, never break down and work great. Thankyou for watching, Cheers.
Great video. But man the saw use was cringe. In the future remember. Plastic you cut slower the fewer teeth your blade has. You should have been cutting it super slow. Lucky only a few chunks broke off. I've seen pvc pretty much explode into shrapnel doing this.
Love it under gravel filters are great.
Still one of the best filters in my opinion, Thanks for watching, Cheers.
