8. Simple animation rule. During a scene where the hands are very noticeable or matter, the animator is more likely to give the character 5 fingers. However, during a scene where the hands don't really count, such as a scene with a lot of different characters the animator has to draw or a running scene for example, it's much simpler to only give the characters 4 fingers, because trust me, drawing 5 fingers all the time can lead to some pretty messed up hands.

Stan's "pushing 70" so he's around his late 60's if not already 70 so Shermie or Sherman Pines would be around 50, if Sherman's had kid around 20 and those had their kids around 20 as well it's very plausible for Shermie to have 12 year old grandchildren
Also it's very well possible that Robbie simply bought the CD at the mall, maybe in some Hot Topic or something, after all, Soos bought Giffany's Dating Simulator Game at the mall as well so it's save to guess they could sell more cursed/magical/dangerous items there
And I believe the prophecy might've come from the Oracle which Ford has made an entry about in Journal 3, it told him some things about Bill and is the one who installed the metal plate into his head, so I believe it was either her or the infamous Axolotl (whom Mabel and Dipper meet in another book) who created the prophecy

As for the mystery baby in the flashback of A Tale of Two Stans I believe that is obviously Shermy. Mr. and Mrs. Pines probably had him unplanned. As for how old he was when Dipper and Mabel were born I believe it is possible to be a grandfather in your forties. Shermy probably married young and had a son while still a newlywed. And most likely Dipper and Mabel's parents were probably in their early twenties also when they had them.
In the episode "dream scapers" as bill left it sounded like he said " buy gold, bye"

And I read someone’s post a while ago where they did the math and found that Sherman Pines, aka Dipper and Mabel’s grandfather MUST be older than Stan and Ford, so the baby seen in A Tale of Two Stans cannot be Sherman. Also, if the baby was in fact Shermy, Alex Hirsh would have confirmed it already. He said at some convention that he couldnt talk about the baby or reveal its identity. 2-Either Bill's dimension(likely as an escape from it) or some other odd dimension, likely an in-between zone.
3-Bill claimed to be a bored two-dimensional creature in a two-dimensional world, and thus caused chaos, anarchy, weirdness, and destruction in order to "free" everyone. He then tried to escape into the second dimension (Gravity Falls's world, technically 3-dimensional) to do the same thing.
4-Time baby is most likely just some etheric being that rules over all of time in the future, and makes its laws.

Maybe the 6 finger hand on bill cipher's wheel was supposed to represent the journals and the glasses for stanford which completes the wheel symbol represents. I think that's why Gideon draws it as a journal.
Hi Fred! Im here to clear up a few questions
1.- Bill's Wheel is used to destory bill. It is used in the finale
2.- Dipper's Actual Name is Mason. It was confirmed in the Published Journal #3.
3.- The glasses mean Fiddleford.
4.- The UFO Was Attracted to Gravity Falls Weirdness. When Bill and his goons try to escape, there is a force field keeping the weirdness in. The Amount is what probably brought the UFO.

+Eloise D (Dr Lovey Buns) but we DO know what it could do, as if it was the safest way to end Bill's House of Fun, and the symbols were people of Gravity Falls who either were linked to the Pine family, or were the Pine family themselves. It symbolised the bonds of Gravity Falls' population united against Bill - in other words, Bill would have been banned from this dimension with the power of love.
