These clients had a very specific vision for their building, involving two pretty big structural engineering considerations.
• They wanted their garden building to be cantilevered over their fish pond.
• And for the garden room to be built over their filtration plant room.
With a very narrow gap and the garden fence being so close, this was a challenge.
As was integrating a five-foot-deep pit underneath the building, accessed through a trapdoor!

5.1 metres wide by 2.4 metres deep.
The building is cantilevered over the edge of the pond.
Integrated blinds.
Under the 2.5 metre planning rule.
Floor-to-ceiling windows.
1-metre trapdoor inside, leading down to a plant filtration room.
