Yes I can understand that, there's lots of goals and projects I start and then sit on my shelf getting dusty. My current goal is to collect all the castles of various themes. The colour variations, or in the castle theme the horse saddle variations are mostly mis-listed, with 2 clips instead of one. Keep going Stacy, when will you be on the Afool podcast again 👍
A Belville shorts compilation would be good. You could also build chunks at a time and make videos off that. Like every set from year 1, and then year 2 and on and on.
Great video, thanks for it and everything you do! I'm currently trying to complete the Space Police II Solar Snooper set (I already have it, this would be a spare copy) so if I ever get that done I'll let you know! I only got back into collecting in the last year so trying to work out what my goals actually are - for me its more of a challenge to do it as cheaply as possible, buying bulk lots and remaking sets. I think I'd love to have as many sets from the 90s with the boxes as possible...probably the best pickup in the last year was Cargo Railway 4559 with the box :)
I have the OG Millennium Falcon from when I was a kid and got it as a gift. It's still my favorite Falcon set Lego has made. I recently built a minifig-scale MOC of the Falcon with 20k-ish parts, which I like just as much, but the OG Falcon is still the ideal playset in my eyes. Also, I have the Deep Freeze Defender, set 6973. It's currently built but like new with no play wear that I can see--even the orange canopies are essentially scratch-less. Has all three figs (including the Doctor), like new. Instructions like new, and box is probably 95% like new (has a few corner scuffs but the panels are pristine and the interior clear pane is totally intact). And I'm not exaggerating on the condition, it's all legit like new. I couldn't believe it when I found it.
Its good to know that there are people out there with an appreciation for those first years of LEGO Star Wars, as those sets are often looked down upon by LEGO Star Wars Fans. I always had a soft spot for them, because to me they (Star Wars Sets from 1999-2003) are the only Star Wars Sets that give me that feeling of watching those classic movies for the first time again.
There’s so many new expensive sets coming out that it’s painful to keep moving that particular goal post, but regarding the old sets I wanna finish a Life on Mars Collection (I just need the Recon Mech RP, I know for a fact my friend had one so I don’t wanna buy one for $30+). I recently got two Holy Grail sets with The Simpsons play sets, so I kinda wanna get each CMF for that too, just need a handful of those. Also would like Rapid River Village from Western to fully complete the “Indian” subtheme, but that thing is quite expensive for what it is. (Didn’t stop me with the other ones.). I guess it’s cause it has two of those canvas teepees. 5:54, oh wow I think I have a variation of her with green hair! I thought she was super cool as a kid as well, I think she was a character in the LEGO Stunt Rally video game.
For me, my goals are to expand and get bookshelves to make space for other large sets and have shelves for themed spaces like Speed Champions, movie & TV and so on as well as building the Avengers Tower and formulating a concept for my own MOC of a "horror hotel" or sorts with horror icons that's as tall (or taller) than the Bugle but built in the same format as that was. Also, just subbed so I'm looking forward to your content moving forward.
Like you I am fortunate to have the core of my vintage collection in place. Some of my current goals are: Complete my Paradisa collection Complete my Hobby Set collection Get some more 1960's sets Have at least one set from every theme sold in Australia from the late 1960's to 1999
I'm the same with wanting more Studio sets. I have a couple of the small and medium-sized sets, but I haven't been able to grab one of the larger ones yet. That's a theme I wish they'd revive, honestly. I think it'd be easy, since they could have people use an app instead of including a camera.
I hope you get the Life on Mars Aero Hanger; that is such a cool theme. I got my goal set for my birthday last week: 6337 Fast Track Finish. I've wanted that since I was four, after seeing it on a poster. Next goal is 6597 Century Skyway, aswell as getting some more 2024 city sets.
The only army building that would be cool from you would be Belville dolls lol! I’ve accidentally created and leaned into competing HP armies of both merpeople and kind of Krum and Fleur
@@ForBricksandGiggles there are definitely some things that stay on the list but ill see something or get something and be taken in by the novelty of something new. I think we all have those things
@@ForBricksandGiggles Oh wow...that is a set I have never put together...I am not sure if it is complete or not. It will never be truly appreciated here, and that makes me sad. But hearing that that set means more to you makes me want for you to have it instead! I am in a similar situation as you: too much Lego but not enough display space!!!

Those sound like some great goals! I love everything castle so that’s wonderful! And I’ll go back on the Afool Pod if they ask me to come back! 😊

I thought about doing it yearly or maybe by collection…so many options, it’s hard to choose 😅
Great update Stacey i can't wait to see what Lego sets you get for your Lego collection 😀
Thank you! It’s so exciting to see where LEGO will take me!

Love the islander shield on your sweater!
Thanks! It’s just a t-shirt lol

Happy to help towards your goals! I hope your Blacktron coffee mug fits with your Monorail coffee table ;)
Thank you so much! I do have the coffee mug proudly displayed close by to my coffee table!! 😊😊
Fort Legoredo is one of my all time fave sets!!

I love your t-shirt 😊
Is it custom made?
You gotta show us it!
I bought it from The Brick Chest! Online store, I’ve worn it in a bunch of my Shorts!

You can cross “play with your Mega Core Magnetizer in the rain” off of your bucket list as well!! 😂
Sometimes I like to get creative with the pictures 😂 but that did make me feel like a kid again! 😁
The only army building that would be cool from you would be Belville dolls lol! I’ve accidentally created and leaned into competing HP armies of both merpeople and kind of Krum and Fleur
Do you care about the launchers that come with the xalax racers? If not it's shouldn't be too expensive parting out the entire line.
My collection goals change weekly.
I used to be like that too! Sometimes I still am! Lol

Ok were did you get that shirt?
Hi
I happen to have Life on Mars 7317 sitting in a box somewhere...is that the set you were talking about?
Yes! That’s the one!
