I read from someone else's comment that they played After Lifeless Years for this festival, damn if that's true it would be so dope to listen to Josh's version live
@@laksana4307 In a Twitch video Josh plays ALY very seriously and he ends up forgetting some guitar parts. It would be great if Josh re-recorded this album with his vocals. Wonder if Josh can play Jamie's signature high clean note. But for Sylosis, Josh once said on Twitch with Nik Nokturnal that they had left the old melodic part of Sylosis. Now we see the new Sylosis with their new signature standard.

Don't know that Ali was an upgrade to Rob, but since joining Sylosis Ali has improved massively! Rob Callard was a monster drummer, very accurate and mega tight live.

He makes the songs feel more intricate and detailed with his style. I think you are right that Ali has become a better drummer in Sylosis. Josh knows how to utilize his talent well and seems to challenge him more than his other bands have 🙏
Josh is insanely talented. My favourite band is Architects but with Josh's insane talent, I sometimes feel like he is capable of much more than is required of him from Architects. That's why I'm glad that he's the frontman of his own band too.

the vocalist made the best decision in his life, his underrated band will never reach the sky like trivium and other and with architects not only he gets the reconition hes making sylosis more noticable just hope he doesnt get tired of sylosis since his trying new things with architects

They are definitely top tier musicians. They do seem to be playing to a click track judging by the fact that there are additional background tracks. Not a dig at all, but it could add to their tightness. Learning to play with a click live can be a difficult task.
This is one of these performances where all those in attendance at the gig witnessed an all time great performance - This is killer! And I hear its not even gonna be on their new album! This is the freshest sounding song I’ve heard in many many years!
