- Israel will not agree to a cease-fire in the war with Hamas, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed during a news conference Monday. His remarks come after Israel increased its ground operations in the Gaza Strip over the weekend.

Oh yeah, except... It's different when you're actively targeting civilian locations, including hitting areas that are meant to be safe zones. Israel has enough resources and manpower to handle things more minimally, but it's simply not important to Israel as is evident.
When the Balfour declaration of 1917 was put in place, it literally states that the Brits were creating the state of Israel for Jewish people in Palestine and the non-Jewish people who already lived there were supposed to have equal rights.

Both sides want a two state solution. In fact, both sides are in complete agreement on the borders. From the river to the sea makes up one country and the other is in the Mediterranean Sea. The only disagreement is who gets the sea front land and who gets the sea.
There is 3 options to solve the problem.
1- The West Bank is attached to Jordania and Gaza to Egypt
2- One state with Israelis and Palestinians living together with the same rights. Lets not forget that 20% of Palestinians are already in living in Israel.
3- The two states solution which seems the only viable option but very difficult to achieve because of extremists on both sides.

Also, many of the land that the "Palestinians" want is just so close to the center of Israel, where most of it's population lives(And have lived for more than 100 years) that it would be a very bad strategic decision to give up on that land.
