Chris Hedges had to quit his job at the New York Times because he kept telling everyone that there were "no WMDs in Iraq." This was in 2002-03. Others after him have also gone through similar crap.
As for Hasan, eh, he practices journalism sometimes. Other times, like his so-called "interview" with Matt Taibbi, not so much. Mehdi does have some skills, but unfortunately, for the most part, he toes the company line instead of practicing _actual_ journalism. Matt, too, had to leave Rolling Stone because he also wouldn't toe the company line. Robert Scheer, and Seymour Hersh, were also fired for telling the truth.
In this interview, though, Hasan got it right. Although I haven't yet watched it, I know he got it right because he got fired for it. That's _how_ I know. Because concerning _this_ subject, you're only _allowed_ to come at it from _only_ one direction.
Many got killed lucky to be sacked.

@@smarks-1160 That 14 second Apache video claim that it was IDF firing upon israelies at the festival has been convincingly debunked. Furthermore, MANY people survived that attack so there would have been so many eye witnesses if that actually happened. But there aren't any. This "war" is bad enough -- no need to blindly repeat propaganda (from either side).
