As a lecturer on Fundamentals of Geology myself, I really adore these videos! They are the beautiful examples on how complex geological processes can be explained simply (but not primitively) and clearly to those who make their very first steps in the Earth sciences. Thank you Mike!
Like instead of spending 40 mins listening to my teacher speaking for 40 minutes and understand nothing, this is just 16 mins and wallahh understood every and each word without wasting my time. Thank u so so much for the listen it Rly helped me out!
I don't know who you are, but thank you so much. I teach all high school social studies subjects at a small school, and the freshman take World Geography. Instead of making a fool of myself talking about rocks, I will let you explain it to them. Once again. Thank you!
Mike, you do an incredible job. I'm from Brazil, studying to exams to get into College, and my bigger difficult was geography... until I found your channel. Thank you so much!!!
I am here because we're going to have a 1 minute speech in Earth Science about all of the topics that has been tackled including this concept of yours.
I AM SURPRISED HOW MUCH AN EXCELLENT SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATION WORK FOR ALL PUBLIC LOOKS LIKE A GOOD DOCTORAL PRESENTATION; SHORT AND CONCISE, THIS IS ONLY ACHIEVED WITH EXPERTISE, HUMBLENESS
😇to whom ever made this I hope your pillow is always cold ,your coffee is always just right for you to drink, you are always on time to work, and you always get a bonus pay check❤😩
Excellent video. Adding to favourites as the daughter is currently homeschooling (covid-19, schools shut), and will have a science & geography project to do. This week's project is art.
Great work but my question is on abrasion by running water. Weathering is mainly formation of soil. How is the soil formed in a flowing river? As for me that example falls under erosion not weathering
Thanks Mike. I'm glad to see that you're still posting presentations. I'm trying to teach myself geology / geomorphology whilst we're all confined by "social distancing" and have little else to do. I look forward to any other geo topic you have time to organise. God Bless.
I AGREE WITH ALL OF YOU ON YHE COMMENT SECTION. So Mike can you please do more videos??? Im on my 11th grade right now and this is helpful. More power to you you're amazing.
great vids. i'm following you because i'm developing an open world video game so i just want to create environment as realistic as possible. thank you for these. btw more examples would be better on videos.
Im only here because my science teacher is making me who else is having to watch this in 2021 because of class The video helped i guess but since i am in school watching this i was 😴😴 the whole time
ty i'm moving to 6th grade i studied hard on these such topics tysm i though weathering was a misnomer though s it think about it and comment below lol!
You explained this topic a hundred times easier and clearer than it is explained in my textbook 😺 Thank you!

Wow this helps a lot on anwering my modules, thank you.
Sir excellent explanation , please explain biological activity weathering .
Biological weathering is when plants grows in the cracks of the rocks and animals and people trampling over the rock causing to the rock to break .
Excellent video. Adding to favourites as the daughter is currently homeschooling (covid-19, schools shut), and will have a science & geography project to do.
