As a lecturer on Fundamentals of Geology myself, I really adore these videos! They are the beautiful examples on how complex geological processes can be explained simply (but not primitively) and clearly to those who make their very first steps in the Earth sciences.
Thank you Mike!
I am here because we're going to have a 1 minute speech in Earth Science about all of the topics that has been tackled including this concept of yours.
I was sent here by school and was pleasantly surprised by your voice and presentation. Subbed.
I don't know who you are, but thank you so much. I teach all high school social studies subjects at a small school, and the freshman take World Geography. Instead of making a fool of myself talking about rocks, I will let you explain it to them. Once again. Thank you!
You explained this topic a hundred times easier and clearer than it is explained in my textbook 😺 Thank you!
Mike, you do an incredible job. I'm from Brazil, studying to exams to get into College, and my bigger difficult was geography... until I found your channel. Thank you so much!!!

This week's project is art.
I'm studying Environmental studies and homeschooling as well. This teacher's explanation is precise, awesome and understandable.

Biological weathering was left out, excellent, informative video nontheless- explaining weathering, erosion and deposition going to be easy
Sir salt wedging is also there.
Here because of school
Same bro
Wait
I watch this because it's interesting
how
The level of weathering mattered much on chronological time differences being exposed to various breaking forces
Wait doesn't erosion occcur when something is being eroded. Im pretty sure eerosion is not transportation or it is part of it.
Like whoever had their teacher share this
Let's see how many likes
Give at least two examples of evidence of weathering and erosion that can be observed at home, in your community or in your nearby cities and towns
1 example u can look outside and see rocks with plants growing thru them
LoL
ty i'm moving to 6th grade i studied hard on these such topics tysm i though weathering was a misnomer though s it think about it and comment below lol!
