- Defining the reversal to the old national anthem as a very important achievement by the Tinubu administration is a very shallow statement to make. The Senate President's comments show his disconnection from the reality of ordinary Nigerians.

Tinubu changed the anthem to tamper with Obasanjo's legacy. It was Obasanjo that decreed into law, the "Arise O' Compatriots anthem" in 1978. It's just the normal old beef between Obasanjo and Tinubu.

Tinubu should be ashamed of the previous National Anthem which is riddled with blood, discrimination, insecurity corruption.
I think changing of National Anthem is more like a personal vendetta between Mr Tinubu and Me Obasanjo.
