@@Motophileo my remembery is trash so I'll probably forget to come back and comment but I'm sure I'll like it. I binged your channel a couple years ago and as random as the video subjects sometimes got it was all good. 🤘🏻
@@Motophileo dude.... beautiful country at your doorstep, capable vehicle, seemingly cool wife, cute daughter, waggly dog butt (😂), you've got it all. NOW is the time to really seize the moments with your family and documenting your bonding time with that kiddo will be a hell of a gift to her when she gets older. She can have your vids of all of y'all together having great family time like a time capsule. If you choose to, include your TH-cam audience in that adventure. Even if you keep all the family stuff off of TH-cam (which is totally understandable), adventure vids like this are rad, imo. My creative critique would be a little longer vids. 20 minutes is typical for adventure vlogs. The usual movie style format would be the way to go. The intro/plan, the journey, the part where something goes wrong, problem solving, the solution and resolution/wrap up and what to expect next. And IDK if it was TH-cam or not but the video resolution seemed to get a bit wonky in the middle at some points. Other than that, you do you. I like your vids as is, and Idk if you're going for a self sustaining TH-cam channel or if you're just doing it for fun, but i think you've got something that could gather a following if you wanted it. Also, just as a side note, i don't want to seem presumptuous, don't know if you need/want help with anything audio/video/editing/etc... but David Manning here on TH-cam is a wealth of knowledge on all that stuff. Short and concise vids with tips and tricks and tech. Not saying you need help with anything, just that i know any help is usually good help. Especially with the editing process. That's usually small/new TH-camrs biggest hurdle and he has some good tips for streamlining so it doesn't take as long and be less of a pain.
Great video! How much of the route where you able to do? Any areas you couldn’t get through? I have rode the MABDR and PA BDR-X on my motorcycle and the van could have done it all (besides expert sections).
We just did Section 4. Ive done it before on my Africa Twin... but in a big lifted van its much more slow going haha. Theres a stretch after Long Lake (going north) that is extremely rocky. In that portion there was a small climb that was rutted and rocky. I didnt think the vans were going to make it but they both went up that section with ease. Literally the biggest issue was the rocky sections. Even with low tire pressure we were only going 5mph at times.
There always that compromise it seems. Take the bike and ride it all in relative ease or take the van and bump along a 5mph but have a big memory foam bed, toilet, and refrigerator! I think the ideal set one day will be the van and a lightweight motorcycle or E-bike on a hitch carrier. Thank you both for the responses!
Thanks man! I was thinking the same thing in regards to 2wd. I’ve been super surprised with this thing. Only time I have encountered problems was snow or deep sand. It’s been legit everywhere else. Especially airing down. Dropping the tire pressure, I have taken this thing over some pretty gnarly terrain.
Good to hear. I know if I am honest with myself 2wd and locker can probably get me any place I visit. Your video with the transit swap was super helpful for me to in-vision what it takes to swap/relocate seats.
Well done great content. Nice to see lifted vans adventure ready 🫡
Very nice video!
Thank you!
That video was a real treat! You got some talent with a camera, really captured the adventure!
Anymore bumper build videos in the future?
I still need to build my front bumper and polish off a couple things on my rear. I’ll pull the camera out and make a video
Haven't watched yet but i knew i stayed subscribed to you for a reason. Held on to hope you'd post again. Miss your content.
haha thanks man! Let me know what you think when you do watch. I do really need to start making more videos! Appreciate the comment.

This channel is exactly what I have been looking for. I’d love to swap my 4Runner for a e350, debating if I can get by with the 2wd.
