When an army with Christian beliefs fights another army with Christian beliefs (i.e. Western European Roman Christians attacking the Orthodox Christians of Constantinople in 1203), who does your God support then? Yet again, there are more people in the world that aren't Christian than those who are. The best and worst in our world is human not divine and diseases etc are an unfortunate part of nature. That is of course unless you want to acknowledge that your great "God", who supposedly created everything, is responsible for them as well as the butterflies and rainbows. However Christians always seemed to gloss over these facts with the standard "The Lord moves in mysterious ways" and "It is all part of His plan". Looking objectively, they make for very strange ways and a cruel and weird plan.
