- Overlooking the breathtaking Eagle Creek golf course, Brooke and Brittany Henderson sat down with Timeout with the Twins while in Ottawa for the Kevin Haime “Kids to the Course” Golf Classic.
The powerhouse pair discussed #girlpower, being role models and their success as best friends and teammates succeeding in a single-player sport.

Amazing young women. Their parents did an amazing job!
Amazing people. Brittany is a classic older sibling to give up her own dream to be a professional golfer. I think the parents also did an amazing job raising two great role models for young girls all over the world. See you guys in Phoenix next year.

I think she has the best swing in golf, man or woman. No one's backswing is longer and she drops in and swings from the inside with incredible power and control. It's really beautiful and amazing to watch.

10 years ago Brit played in the Portland Classic.
Back then Brooke was still trying to Monday qualify. But since her sister was in, she tried to Monday qualify. If she didn't she could still caddie for Brit. Brooke qualified, then won.
By 8 shots.
That is the greatest achievement in golf history. Well, tied with Tiger's
win in the US Open by 15 shots. Noone is PGA tour history has Monday qualifed and won.
Only once before in LPGA history.
Pro Golf can be fleeting, like the swing. I always think about Paula Creamer. One day she's winning a major the next day she's gone. Of course, it's almost always something mental, because golf is such an emotional/mental game. Appreciate every moment. And appreciate other people. Go as far outside of yourself as possible....
Wish the LPGA had more of a following, so hopefully when my Daughter gets to that age she has some hope of joining them!
It's a lot more relatable to average player , the key to her getting her recent game back - was working with her father .
