The spider sense has imo always been one of Spider-Man's most interesting powers. One pretty crazy use of the Spider Sense was shown in what I believe what a Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man issue, in which Spider-Man was rendered temporarily blind and while teaming up with Daredevil, learned how to use his Spider Sense as a DD inspired Radar Sense (though Stan Lee has confirmed that the Radar Sense still has better range and strength than the Spider Sense when used in this context)
This is one of those comments where I need to slap it in a metaphorical sense. Spider sense and radar sense have hardly anything in common. You cannot compare them to each other. So it doesn’t make sense for Stan to compare them because of that. For those wondering he only makes this comparison in Amazing Spider man annual 1

I really like how in the MCU Peter's spider sense is sort of similar to Daredevil's senses. It can even overwhelm his senses which is why he has to wear the lenses.
You can see the vibrations in the web reference in The Amazing Spiderman, where when Peter goes into the Sewer to find Lizard, he creates a webbing for all the ways in Sewer, with him at the intersection point, alerting him of any movements happening in any of the directions. That was pretty "amazing".
Already liked Silk, but this little extra piece of info about her spider sense has solidified a newfound respect for her. And this is only a fan theory of mine, but I used to imagine in the Sam Raimi Spiderman film that when Osborn inherits the green goblin serum and kills his coworker it cuts to the scene of Peter practically jolted awake and I personally felt that was the first boost of his spider sense on grand level and then reduced to be fully concentrated to handle immediate threats, like Flash's punch after the cafeteria.
As far as I know, the Spider Sense is actually based on the micro-hairs that spiders have that can let them detect even the smallest of vibrations in the air.
I love how Tom's Spider sense looks and sounds, like that scene in the apartment in NWH. Also at the end of Infinity War how he's the only on that reacts and takes the longest to get dusted, because his spider sense is going crazy telling him he's in immenent danger and is about to die pretty much. That must've added to the dread of being snapped judging by how it looks and feels when it goes off during nwh.

When I was reading the Spider-Man comics many years ago, I figured that since Spider-Man has the powers of a spider, his spider sense is based on the fact that spiders have eight eyes around its head and that it could see in all directions to detect prey or threats in conjunction to sensing the vibrations in its webs in the same way. His spider strength could be based on the eight legs of a spider concentrated within the four limbs of a human, making him far more stronger than the average person and capable of lifting 10 tons of weight. Stan "the Man" Lee was a genius for creating one of the great super-heroes of all time!!!

I like the actual spider sense better from actual spiders, they have hairs all over their body that can sense and detect subtle movement in the air for tracking insects and potential threats. They have probably evolved to tune out some things that spiders would deem not harmful so they don’t freak out every time the wind blows, potentially explaining why the Peter tingle doesn’t respond to venom attacking or aunt may throwing something at peter. The entire multiverse web is unnecessary to explain spider powers and the spider sense, while it does make for an interesting story, I’d prefer if it wasn’t the main explanation.

They also show how it doesn’t always detect direct danger, like when normans personality is switched and he tells him his sense trick is neat. Also towards the end before the final fight, they all stop talking when all of them look at the same direction and tom asks if they feel it.
Yup. My only gripe with it is that Peter doesn't train his Spidersense in the comics much. Another version of Spiderman (assassin Spiderman) trained his SS so much that he can see a little bit into the future, and too the point that he just "knows things" Kinda like Katakuri.

I specifically remember comic issues that portrayed spider sense as having a weakness toward "volume" of the danger -- as in, when a villain planted explosives over a wide radius in a surrounding pattern, and then lured Spider-man into the middle, the spider sense was depicted as picking up a huge volume of danger all around that Spider-man wasn't able to pin point where the villain was and failed to avoid a shot. Also, in some comics I also distinctly remember an insurmountable level of danger overwhelms the spider sense to the point of causing paralyzing pain that Spider-man was unable to function normally.
Actually from my understanding spider-sense and Spider-senses were two different things one is the 6th sense that we're familiar with and the other referred his five enhanced senses. But eventually Spider senses disappeared.

Like he does with everything he touches, Mark Waid ruined the Flash _forever._ Used to be there was a velocity and sense of motion to the artwork, like the Flash was streaking across the page; think of Infantino's classic flowing style. Tbh I never liked how Marvel connected the spiders and spider sense to some multiversal concept, it's just completely unnecessary. I think spider sense is one of the most unique powers out there in the MCU in my opinion

My idea was Hightend instincts and a sense of Touch Memory smell sound which implys that he is much more sensitive than normal so it doesn't take as much as long as it it is a quick flux

You mean, it's a half-assed deus ex machina used to pull any plot wrinkle you like out of your drawers? Interdimensional crossings? Speed Force. Time Travel? Speed Force. World peace? Speed MUTHAF***IN' Force. Like he does with everything he touches, Mark Waid ruined the Flash _forever._ Used to be there was a velocity and sense of motion to the artwork, like the Flash was streaking across the page; think of Infantino's classic flowing style. Instead, now the Flash craps lightning in every panel and it just looks like a slideshow of static freeze frames. I hate everything about it.

I’m not sure if anyone noticed this (pretty sure you guys did) but the Spider People and Speedsters are kinda of the same to me. I’ll explain why. Bothe are connected to a inter dimensional source. Peter reminds me of Jay cause they’re both the OG. Ben Reilly reminds me of Barry or Wally. Anyway, it’s because they’re are alternate version of Spider People and Speedsters
Tbh I never liked how Marvel connected the spiders and spider sense to some multiversal concept, it's just completely unnecessary. Not to mention I never liked when writers make other spiders better than Peter. He's the OG, he should always be the best. Without him there wouldn't be any other spiders.
