the steps: 1- Add layer with NAD1983_alaska zone 3_fips_5003 to map with WGS84 projection 2- From Data frame properties then Coordinate System tab 3- Click Transformation 4- Convert From: GCS_North_American_1983 5- Into: WGS_1984 6- Using: NAD_1983_To_WGS_1984_2 7- Press OK 8- The shapefile must shifted to match the layer with WGS84 9- Right Click on the shapefile then Data --> Export 10- From the dialog use the same coordinate system as data frame So the final output is WGS84 Coordinate System
Hi! how do you do transformations of shapefile in NAD1983_alaska zone 3_fips_5003 into WGS1984_6N geodatabase? im trying to copy these shapefiles & paste them in geodatabase with different coordinate system. Can you please help me use the correct transformations? thanks!
Nice video : too bad that the user misses the last transformation by not setting the right property (Y is used twice at the end !! instead of using X) Ohterwise, very good job !
