    Thanks so much for the tour Linda, I can’t imagine what it looks like in spring and summer. We are so fortunate that you take those of us who wouldn’t otherwise get to see such places ,along with you!🇨🇦

    As a native Tulsan, I have been to the Gilcrease Museum several times but never to the home. Thank you for the info, I will have to put it on my list of gardens to visit next spring. I hope you stay in Oklahoma, because it is such a pleasure for me to follow along with your weather and climate as it often mirrors Tulsa’s. I bought the Lee Valley 10 year garden journal based on your recommendation and just love it. Keep it coming lady!

    Again, I know you will be glad when Stewart gets back, but, Linda, you bring such peace and joy to me with these videos you have done. I miss seeing you on the other side of the camera, but these videos you have done are so like walking beside you as "we" explore your garden or someone else's. I appreciate your husband's patience,too, and your generosity in sharing your Sunday with all of us. Best wishes from Tennessee.💕

    Thanks so much, Linda, for such a beautiful, restful tour of a gorgeous place. I've never been to Oklahoma, but thru your wonderful tours and your garden make me want to visit! Plus- your voice and descriptions of all the trees, plants, and architecture are so soothing and relaxing. It's so nice to be able to enjoy all of this from my couch on a cloudy day in Tennessee!!! Thanks again for including all of us!❤😎

    I'm drooling over the green wrought iron and the stone on the house! Nothing more breathtaking than an Oklahoma sky before a storm or at sunset! I'll have to take a tour next spring when I visit family. Maybe the wisteria will be in bloom! 🤞 Thanks for sharing this!

    Loved it! Thank you for the serene tour. I have never seen such a large wisteria trunk! I love the elephant ears. Often I see them in yards, and they have burned leaves, but these in your video are so pretty. I'm in 7b, W. TN. Thank you for this video. Still doing a great job!

    Oh thank you Linda. Very unique fence, house & garden. Thoroughly enjoyed. 💋🙏🙏🙏
    Still raining in way Norcal. So greatful. Fresh snow on Mt. Shasta. Lovely. 🏔️
    The snow in January brought a huge oak onto my house. I survived! Still cleaning up. But need to prop up my metal arbors that fell from the weight of the snow, which is not typical where live.

    • @danielallen138
      @danielallen138 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Heavy, saturated snow can be so destructive! In NE Ohio, we had two late season snowfalls this past spring, one after many trees had started blooming. The flowers and leaves captured more of the heavy snow than the bare branches would have, and were pulled down, some almost to the ground!

    Stunning wrought iron benches welcome you into the most beautiful gardens and home. What magnificent arbors and iron fencing. I was lost in the muted green color of all the iron work and the greens of the elephant ears to rusty hues of the Japanese Maples. I do believe my next visit will be Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Thank you so much for this garden tour. Donna from Texas

  • @gypsyjudy3521

    I love the green wrought iron. The grates reminded me of the acorn medallions I've lugged around during different moves for the last 20 years. We took them off of the railing on an old home we remodeled. My husband wanted to give them away because he was tired of moving them. They were SO heavy! Last year we started remodeling yet another home and we tried them in the grates on the foundation. They were a perfect fit. They were just waiting for the perfect resting place.

    Hard to wear lipstick on a windy day; it’s very windy in Central Texas, too. What a beautiful setting and I love that style home with porches all around it. Looks to be a Prairie/Craftsman style home. A treasure for sure.

    I love your videos, never miss an episode! I get the impression that a move is in your not too distant future, perhaps Colorado to be near your son? It's the not so subtle hints you have been dropping, the downsizing, decluttering, weeding out, and when you said you and the Hub were going thru your books was a clear indication to me, as that is exactly what my Hubby and I did when we downsized! Whatever is in your future I do hope you continue with your videos!

    • @LindaVater
      @LindaVater  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s probably still a year or two off, but we hope to have two smaller places instead of one large one. One here in Oklahoma City and one in Colorado. Regardless of whether or not we move, I am still decluttering and trying to reduce the amount of stuff I have LOL!

    The green of the metalwork reminds me of Disney green - just disappears and doesn't compete with the rest of the garden.
