  • Why does the AI pronounce poggers correctly but then fail at pogchampionship.
    This video has an updated opener (as in, there is no opener. You just cast feel the burn once at the start instead of with fresh air buff to get the aura 10% damage buff early), since the old one was bad. I am aiming for 35k+ for the real bench for now.

    Why do you position the area of the overload air slighly away from the golem? does that change anything on the dps numbers?

      It still hits the golem, the visual is just slightly smaller than the actual hitbox size of the skill. You want to be far away for a slight dps gain:
      - Lightning orb hits multiple times as it travels, up to 15 times on this size golem hitbox
      - Phoenix takes a while to travel to the boss when you stand further away, giving you enough time to swap back to Air Attunement for higher damage modifiers -> increasing the damage of each Phoenix cast

    Nice bench brother! Shouldnt it always be better to open fire OL though? Like it may be some dps loss at the golem but way faster might cap in encounters.

      If you are required to ramp up might for your subgroup, then go for it! This is literally just a core loop that can be modified to your needs as most skills aren't being used actively. Most changes are of course a change in dps!

    Quick question, maybe you can help me, I wonder what number will get the build of fresh air tempest with water, using "Potent Lucent Oil " for Alacrity, I know Arcane is great because of extra concentration + ress + Bountiful Power, but .....I have seen more and more questionable boon uptime in pugs and when I ask if they can focus a bit more in the uptime, I'm the bad guy, so I wonder if It would be close to that numbers or less in order to not depend on the boon uptime of pugs for Bountiful power.

      Honestly you shouldn't worry about bountiful power as much for your damage. It is nice to have a damage modifier on the arcane traitline, but we mainly play it for the boon duration, faster attunement recharges and possibilities to generate protection uptime amongst other things by altering the rotation from this basic loop.
      Water traitline would do less dps than fire traitline if you are concerned about dps purely, unless you want to have that extra healing from soothing mist and healing ripple. But in a standard setting, both water attune and water traitline do less dps than fire attune and fire traitline respectively.
      There is a fire traitline video on my channel with 34,935 dps (so just about the same dps), but it has way less boon duration due to not running arcane traitline. So if you feel like you can still provide alacrity reliably with that, then you could simply swap to it. However, if you use potent lucent oil (to make up boon duration loss) then you will do less dps at which point I would argue just playing this arcane version is the same dps.
      I personally would not recommend any less boon duration than on this arcane build.
      If you simply wish for more boon duration you can absolutely run concentration food/utilities at a cost of dps of course.
      Quick Edit: You can also replace the res trait for the arcane shield trait if you do not need res power. That way you get arcane shield when you cast your elite elemental skill and if you get hit 3 times while it's up it will explode for some slight dps increase, while obviously blocking the incoming damage.
