@@Frostwreek well, you see, while I understand that there are some who put it in the description, there are many that don't. Why don't they? Because it takes away from views themselves and people will also miss the reasoning behind the card choices vs other cards that could be there. Reasoning behind card choices could be just as important as the card choices themselves. Back to the views though, a full time youtuber or even a part time youtuber relies on views for the algorithm so that their videos can be seen by more people. The more people that watch the video to start with, the more people TH-cam puts the video in front of. Likes are also an important part of this process too. The more likes a video has, the more people youtube puts the video in front of. The more likes and views a creators videos have, the more appealing they are to ad companies. Ad cents, as it is called, is the revenue stream of how youtubers make the money after they meet certain criteria. By posting this list you are diminishing replay value and that means less views which means less money for the youtuber and less exposure for the video and less people that will be able to see it. Some may go straight to the comments to circumvent the viewing process and you are only aiding that by posting the list in the comments. Therefore inturn hurting viewers by not letting them get the additional information as well hurting the youtuber and replay value of the video.
This was the first structure deck I bought. I'm still new to Yugioh, but I'm liking it. Wish I bought 3 of them now, but I didn't know what to expect from the deck. EDIT: I did wind up getting two more.

Contrary to what Sam said, I prefer to have multiple copies of it because of how much the deck spams different Attribute monsters; the swarm of 3000 to 4000 ATK beaters is pretty annoying if they can't get rid of them, and you can get your monsters to that range with just 2 of them. It also enables Accesscode to OTK by itself. I also need to be adding Aruru as well, so if you try building this, probably play 1 or 2 of her.
This deck is GREATLY made better with Eda the Sun Magician. It's an Earth Level 4 Spellcaster with 1500 ATK/DEF (which means it works for Grand Spell Ichirin). When she's summoned or flipped up, you get to place one of your Charmers in face down position from your Deck, then you can flip them up as a quick effect to steal your opponent's monster. Also I tend to run 3 Grand Spell Ichirin to negate monster effects and get the Charmer or Possessed familiar I need. Better to use Magician's Right Hand to negate spell cards and destroy them.
I actually run a beatdown variant of this deck, and included cards like "Ice Dragon's Prison" as it is a great way to out problem cards that crop up. Plus I have all familiar possessed and charmer monsters including the light and dark so I can take over any attribute they throw at me as a backup.
its a shame the best card in the damn archtype is forbidden trish might as well not even have been made as its up there with some of the best monsters in the entire game for the rest of the deck being mediocre its honestly sad
That's why I bought them and why I'll buy three Ice Barrier Structure decks when it will be released. Because damn, do this archetype looks amazing! And I have hope the Ice Barrier will become pretty decent with the new cards.

I really love this build but what i did personally is i switched a secret village and an aruru for two awakening of the possessed just to add more power to the deck but still having a lot of control in it.
Pog. Definitely wish this wasnt just the 3x structure deck and was like a $50 budget gives the deck some more breathing room so you can get some extra deck monsters outside of like earth charmer lol.

Just buy singles. With Yu-Gi-Oh, if you buy booster packs, you're basically throwing your money a way at the chance of getting a card that works with your deck. I suggest using sites like TCGPlayer. Why not 3 awakening it has attack boost also draw power and protection if u sawrm the field with the fammiliars then thats easy attack for game especcially if u have multiple
Its much easier to have it at 2 than 3 though. It is still easy to search and be used to stack on the field. You don't wanna see 3 on the field because you would need room for other backrow supports, and mostly with more supports coming in there may be more Continuous spell/trap cards for them as additional searches from the supports we have now

What bothers me about all the Charmer support is that it seems the Light and Dark charmers don't seem to be a part of it. They're always an add on later. They're all Charmers! Let them be a play with the others!
Right! I love this structure deck, but there's definitely alot of things that could have made it better. 1. Adding Light and Dark supports 2. Retrain the Familiar-Possessed instead of making alternate artworks and also instead of making new versions of the familiars since this is a Charmer deck not a Familiar deck 3. Have the Charmer links in the structure deck 4. An actual boss monster for them 5. Make use of the tokens 6. Have the field spell focus more on the Charmer/Familiar-Possessed monsters and not searching the familiars
Amazing video. I can't wait for this structure deck to come in my mail. Already bought the playmat yesterday so I will be waiting for this momentarily. This is the most fun deck I will forever play. I really hope to see more support cards because the structure deck didnt provide enough and they desperately need more than 5-7 cards, just more continuous spell/traps is enough as well as supports for the Light and Dark Charmers and their pets
Actually I have had mild success a few months back when I decided to play earth charmer guru control. By no means am I saying the deck is the best deck in the format at all but I am saying there are some strats that actually could work with charmers
I've had many strategies to the deck like with Invokeds, Crusadia, Kaiju, and Windwitches. With the new supports you have other engines like Dogmatika and Magistus to give the deck some extra push in disruptions and extensions
I have a question about Secret Village of the Spellcasters; it says "if only you control a spellcaster monster", does that mean if you control more than one spellcaster monster, the effect doesn't apply?

I just got 3 copies of the deck and I was wondering what kind of Extra Deck I can run with it ? I am very intrigued to try this one on a local tournament even tho people ar my local play high-level competitive stuffs, you can have some luck with the surprise effect. I once beat a Salamangreat Deck and a Sky Striker one with a pure Dinomist Deck (it was Pre-Electrumite ban) and I want to pull the magic again with this deck and a Melffy/Beast one. So what cards should I put on the Extra Deck ?
Im new and just started getting back into the game. But why didnt you put in the 3 level charmers? You cant special summon the familiar possesed without them.
You can special summon them in different ways (with Luna for example), also it costs you 2 cards, while you could do it for free, and all of that just for the "inflict piercing damage" effect just isn't worth it. Excluding the special summon effect the cards aren't really that good, they have low stats and you rarely use their flip effects, cause in the most scenarios your opponent doesn't use all of those attributes.
Paid 10 for this deck and $30 exact on tcg player ordering the cards to build this version. (But with Super rares, ultra rares, & rares added in) only card i think i purposely ordered in common was effect veiler & dimensional barrier. If u build it like this u spend $10 more, but get to have a lil more bling in the deck.
Cimo did the same thing just yesterday, Spirit Charmers deck, featuring no Charmers. (Though, Cimo's version is worst than TeamSamurai's version, like no Unpossessed or Nefarious Archfiend Eater of Nefariousness at all.)
@@Runitback97 Team APS also built a Familiar-Possessed formula using from "Spirit Charmers" when one of them got that deck. Great job making a budget deck with just the structure decks! I haven't seen many people actually showing these. It would be great for those who don't have much money to spend on the game, especially in the middle of a pandemic or people having real life that they have to account for.

Probably not, both the two decks rely on their normal summon/set. Altergeist need their marionetter or Mule summon. Unless you run a small engine of multifaker + Silq then I could kinda see it but it'd be tough as you no longer have a reliable system to get trap activations other than the Charmer trap. Overall, just not a very good mix.

Did you see how little stuff it did? Its not good. Like its really not good. Some really good stable cards though (dark ruler no more, effect veiler, raigeki, twin twisters and solemn warning) If you want a new struktured deck take a look at shaddoll showdown. Yea it might brick more then you would like it to, but the perfect hand does SO much its actually disguisting.
@@JumboBog320 i got some extra cards for the Extra and Side deck to make my new Dino deck at relatively cheap but decent power (Pankratops, Lithosagym, Lost Wind, Unending Nightmare, Book of Eclipse, Dark Hole, Pentestag, Utopia, etc.) Keep in mind I’m an extremely dirt cheap Yugioh player so I want to be sure I made the right purchase. Hell I added Link Hiita and Link Eria to my Dino deck because the Charmer deck was coming out.

I would like to see what you can do when comboing the Sacred beast with the charm casters because heck of the fire possessed card makes them take damage from a cards attack then you could just get out the Sacred beast fusion and the special salmon that fire possessed and deal 10k damage to them and end the duel their. With that one spell protecting them from effects and the other card protecting them from battle and the sacred beast filed spell protecting the fusion then yea one hit ko
Don't listen to him lol If you need help with the extra deck list, absolutely you may need to grab the 4 Charmer links, IP Masquerena, Selene, Knightmare Phoenix, and Apollousa/Accesscode Talker (any other decent Link-4 is fine but keep it as low as 2 link-4s). Other cards you can grab are Abyss Dweller, Tornado Dragon, Utopia/Lightning, El-Shaddoll Winda and Mudragon for Instant Fusion tech, Apkallone maybe if you could do some techs with Dogmatika Punishment

@@Frostwreek well, you see, while I understand that there are some who put it in the description, there are many that don't. Why don't they? Because it takes away from views themselves and people will also miss the reasoning behind the card choices vs other cards that could be there. Reasoning behind card choices could be just as important as the card choices themselves. Back to the views though, a full time youtuber or even a part time youtuber relies on views for the algorithm so that their videos can be seen by more people. The more people that watch the video to start with, the more people TH-cam puts the video in front of. Likes are also an important part of this process too. The more likes a video has, the more people youtube puts the video in front of. The more likes and views a creators videos have, the more appealing they are to ad companies. Ad cents, as it is called, is the revenue stream of how youtubers make the money after they meet certain criteria. By posting this list you are diminishing replay value and that means less views which means less money for the youtuber and less exposure for the video and less people that will be able to see it. Some may go straight to the comments to circumvent the viewing process and you are only aiding that by posting the list in the comments. Therefore inturn hurting viewers by not letting them get the additional information as well hurting the youtuber and replay value of the video.

This was the first structure deck I bought. I'm still new to Yugioh, but I'm liking it. Wish I bought 3 of them now, but I didn't know what to expect from the deck.

This isn't the most optimal build, but it's pretty good from my experience. I could get it to be a lot better if I threw in Impermanence, and other hand traps. I've also been experimenting with more copies of Secret Village, but for now I like it at 1.
The main goal of the deck is really just to have big bodies. The deck does a good job of taking your opponent's resources for yourself via the Charmer links and Restrict. The basic bread and butter combo is to summon a Familiar-Possessed (Or Instant Fusion Thousand-Eyes Restrict if possible), SS a familiar, link into a Charmer Link, steal a monster from opponent's GY, Link into Selene, use Selene to bring back a Spellcaster (Ideally Restrict), and Link into Accesscode. Obviously don't be dumb with it, as it can be easily disrupted. Make sure you can play through negations, etc. Awakening of the Possessed is very good, and stacks. Contrary to what Sam said, I prefer to have multiple copies of it because of how much the deck spams different Attribute monsters; the swarm of 3000 to 4000 ATK beaters is pretty annoying if they can't get rid of them, and you can get your monsters to that range with just 2 of them. It also enables Accesscode to OTK by itself.
I also need to be adding Aruru as well, so if you try building this, probably play 1 or 2 of her.

This deck is GREATLY made better with Eda the Sun Magician. It's an Earth Level 4 Spellcaster with 1500 ATK/DEF (which means it works for Grand Spell Ichirin). When she's summoned or flipped up, you get to place one of your Charmers in face down position from your Deck, then you can flip them up as a quick effect to steal your opponent's monster.
Also I tend to run 3 Grand Spell Ichirin to negate monster effects and get the Charmer or Possessed familiar I need. Better to use Magician's Right Hand to negate spell cards and destroy them.

I actually run a beatdown variant of this deck, and included cards like "Ice Dragon's Prison" as it is a great way to out problem cards that crop up. Plus I have all familiar possessed and charmer monsters including the light and dark so I can take over any attribute they throw at me as a backup.

I really love this build but what i did personally is i switched a secret village and an aruru for two awakening of the possessed just to add more power to the deck but still having a lot of control in it.

Just buy singles. With Yu-Gi-Oh, if you buy booster packs, you're basically throwing your money a way at the chance of getting a card that works with your deck. I suggest using sites like TCGPlayer.

if u sawrm the field with the fammiliars then thats easy attack for game especcially if u have multiple
Its much easier to have it at 2 than 3 though. It is still easy to search and be used to stack on the field. You don't wanna see 3 on the field because you would need room for other backrow supports, and mostly with more supports coming in there may be more Continuous spell/trap cards for them as additional searches from the supports we have now

What bothers me about all the Charmer support is that it seems the Light and Dark charmers don't seem to be a part of it. They're always an add on later. They're all Charmers! Let them be a play with the others!
Right! I love this structure deck, but there's definitely alot of things that could have made it better.
1. Adding Light and Dark supports
2. Retrain the Familiar-Possessed instead of making alternate artworks and also instead of making new versions of the familiars since this is a Charmer deck not a Familiar deck
3. Have the Charmer links in the structure deck
4. An actual boss monster for them
5. Make use of the tokens
6. Have the field spell focus more on the Charmer/Familiar-Possessed monsters and not searching the familiars
Amazing video. I can't wait for this structure deck to come in my mail. Already bought the playmat yesterday so I will be waiting for this momentarily. This is the most fun deck I will forever play. I really hope to see more support cards because the structure deck didnt provide enough and they desperately need more than 5-7 cards, just more continuous spell/traps is enough as well as supports for the Light and Dark Charmers and their pets
Actually I have had mild success a few months back when I decided to play earth charmer guru control. By no means am I saying the deck is the best deck in the format at all but I am saying there are some strats that actually could work with charmers
I've combined Shaddolls with Charmers. They're go great together.
I've had many strategies to the deck like with Invokeds, Crusadia, Kaiju, and Windwitches. With the new supports you have other engines like Dogmatika and Magistus to give the deck some extra push in disruptions and extensions

I have a question about Secret Village of the Spellcasters; it says "if only you control a spellcaster monster", does that mean if you control more than one spellcaster monster, the effect doesn't apply?
No, it just means as long as you have a spell caster and your opponent does not then it can be activated

Good extra deck monsters: bahamut shark, toadally awesome, abyss dweller, bagooska, bujinki (link 2), codebreaker virus swordsman, codebreaker virus berserker, Selene, ip masquerena, charmer links, access codetalker, unchained abomination, borrelsword, knightmare links (all work depending on your build and what you need)

I just got 3 copies of the deck and I was wondering what kind of Extra Deck I can run with it ? I am very intrigued to try this one on a local tournament even tho people ar my local play high-level competitive stuffs, you can have some luck with the surprise effect.
I once beat a Salamangreat Deck and a Sky Striker one with a pure Dinomist Deck (it was Pre-Electrumite ban) and I want to pull the magic again with this deck and a Melffy/Beast one.
So what cards should I put on the Extra Deck ?

Im new and just started getting back into the game. But why didnt you put in the 3 level charmers? You cant special summon the familiar possesed without them.
You can special summon them in different ways (with Luna for example), also it costs you 2 cards, while you could do it for free, and all of that just for the "inflict piercing damage" effect just isn't worth it. Excluding the special summon effect the cards aren't really that good, they have low stats and you rarely use their flip effects, cause in the most scenarios your opponent doesn't use all of those attributes.

Paid 10 for this deck and $30 exact on tcg player ordering the cards to build this version. (But with Super rares, ultra rares, & rares added in) only card i think i purposely ordered in common was effect veiler & dimensional barrier. If u build it like this u spend $10 more, but get to have a lil more bling in the deck.

Cimo did the same thing just yesterday, Spirit Charmers deck, featuring no Charmers. (Though, Cimo's version is worst than TeamSamurai's version, like no Unpossessed or Nefarious Archfiend Eater of Nefariousness at all.)

@@Runitback97 Team APS also built a Familiar-Possessed formula using from "Spirit Charmers" when one of them got that deck. It's only because of "Unpossessed" effect that helped them gain ATK when give an opponent's monster a face-punch.

Ive been looking for an older collection because I my brother lost his original collection due to water damage and I have been tring to get an original collection so we can look back at.
Great job making a budget deck with just the structure decks! I haven't seen many people actually showing these. It would be great for those who don't have much money to spend on the game, especially in the middle of a pandemic or people having real life that they have to account for.

Probably not, both the two decks rely on their normal summon/set. Altergeist need their marionetter or Mule summon.
Unless you run a small engine of multifaker + Silq then I could kinda see it but it'd be tough as you no longer have a reliable system to get trap activations other than the Charmer trap.
Overall, just not a very good mix.

The only engines to work well with Charmers are Invokeds, Dogmatika, Kaijus, Windwitches, Magistus, Gravekeepers, and Crusadia

Its not good. Like its really not good. Some really good stable cards though (dark ruler no more, effect veiler, raigeki, twin twisters and solemn warning)
If you want a new struktured deck take a look at shaddoll showdown.
Yea it might brick more then you would like it to, but the perfect hand does SO much its actually disguisting.
@@JumboBog320 i got some extra cards for the Extra and Side deck to make my new Dino deck at relatively cheap but decent power (Pankratops, Lithosagym, Lost Wind, Unending Nightmare, Book of Eclipse, Dark Hole, Pentestag, Utopia, etc.)
Keep in mind I’m an extremely dirt cheap Yugioh player so I want to be sure I made the right purchase.

This isn't the most optimal build, but it's pretty good from my experience. I could get it to be a lot better if I threw in Impermanence, and other hand traps. I've also been experimenting with more copies of Secret Village, but for now I like it at 1.
The main goal of the deck is really just to have big bodies. The deck does a good job of taking your opponent's resources for yourself via the Charmer links and Restrict. The basic bread and butter combo is to summon a Familiar-Possessed (Or Instant Fusion Thousand-Eyes Restrict if possible), SS a familiar, link into a Charmer Link, steal a monster from opponent's GY, Link into Selene, use Selene to bring back a Spellcaster (Ideally Restrict), and Link into Accesscode. Obviously don't be dumb with it, as it can be easily disrupted. Make sure you can play through negations, etc. Awakening of the Possessed is very good, and stacks. Contrary to what Sam said, I prefer to have multiple copies of it because of how much the deck spams different Attribute monsters; the swarm of 3000 to 4000 ATK beaters is pretty annoying if they can't get rid of them, and you can get your monsters to that range with just 2 of them. It also enables Accesscode to OTK by itself.
I also need to be adding Aruru as well, so if you try building this, probably play 2 or 3 of her.

I would like to see what you can do when comboing the Sacred beast with the charm casters because heck of the fire possessed card makes them take damage from a cards attack then you could just get out the Sacred beast fusion and the special salmon that fire possessed and deal 10k damage to them and end the duel their. With that one spell protecting them from effects and the other card protecting them from battle and the sacred beast filed spell protecting the fusion then yea one hit ko

If you need help with the extra deck list, absolutely you may need to grab the 4 Charmer links, IP Masquerena, Selene, Knightmare Phoenix, and Apollousa/Accesscode Talker (any other decent Link-4 is fine but keep it as low as 2 link-4s). Other cards you can grab are Abyss Dweller, Tornado Dragon, Utopia/Lightning, El-Shaddoll Winda and Mudragon for Instant Fusion tech, Apkallone maybe if you could do some techs with Dogmatika Punishment

@@tristindurocher-batley4780 no problem! There's also some tech options to add into the deck like Foolish Burial Goods, Instant Fusion, Crackdown, Dogmatika Punishment, and Skill Drain
@@IamJerf I have at least one copy of at least 1 copy of instant fusion and I know I have a skill drain lying around but how many copies would you recommend for those and the other cards
