Electrolysis: Hydrogen production

Hydrogen is present everywhere around us, even in us, in its form of compounds together. Hydrogen, under atmospheric conditions, is a colorless and odorless gas. Hydrogen is highly combustible; it releases a huge amount of energy when burnt. Hydrogen for instance can be used as fuel for rockets. Hydrogen is the most abundant substance in the universe.
The electrolysis of water is one of the methodologies used for getting hydrogen. Electrolysis is the process of using electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. This reaction takes place in a unit called an electrolyzer.
