The Diaz brothers are one of the best fighters in the history of MMA, period! Nobody in the game trains as hard as they do.. 1st fight i saw from him was against Lawler, which was just insane. That was fucking 12 years ago and he kept training on this insane level without a rest.. watch up how he beats the speedball for 25 minutes..
The guys been through a lot , he don't want to talk non stop, he don't want to make eye contact , if anyone can't relate to him, u ain't been through any trials n tribulations .
Nick & Nate are the Epitome of Warriors!!! They are some of The Best Ever!!! And I wish people would just Stop saying they don't know how to verbally express themselves... Here Nick just spoke very clearly and articulated himself Very Well Handsdown!!! The MMA World and fans All over the Globe owe these Men Much Respect!!! They are an Inspiration for the No Quit-Give It All You Got-Lay It All On The Line Spirit!!!
damn even though he isn't the best at expressing himself verbally, nick has some really intelligent things to say, what he said in the end about boxers and muay thai fighters impressed me a lot
Damn new respect for Nick. I'll admit, I never really liked him in the octogon, but listening to this interview I have new respect for him. I'll say he's more cerebral than I thought. Call me nieve, but I only thought he was this Compton hood bully, but now I realize he's more than that. Smart guy. Bad on me for judging just from the fights. Good on Nick for showing his real out of the cage personality. Great video. Thanks bombsb420
Love how Nick talks about MMA and how it's "become" a sport for the sake of being accepted. I really hope he stays fighting in the UFC. I don't even care if he's champion or not, can't afford to lose exciting guys like him.
I think that there are far more people that love the Diaz brothers than the select few tight asses that actually don´t. Nick Diaz is one of the most interesting fighters ever. He is a genuine human being too. Apart from being one of the two best welterweights in the world he also acts as someone to look up to. Look what his attitude and work mentality has done for his brother Nate.
Great guy, fighter runs through every vein in his body and that's what intimidates people both inside and outside martial arts. When Nick fights, it's for survival..
Did you feel that way about his antics after the Noons fight after the loss or after the Joe Riggs hospital fight after the loss? Not arguing, just asking. I'm really just curious what you feel about it.
once he starts talking about matial arts and different styles and putting it together. He knows whats up and is in his element. Cool guy id like to train with the dude.
Thats the real nick diaz...See if you've done the work, you know what you can do, confidence is just a bi product of of hard work..and this is the man that shows ...ssss sss DIAZ, good job bro
Ok ok, I see you did there, Mr./Ms. Misfitstatoo. I’m very impressed. Turns out that you’re undercover working for the grammar police. You got me. The irony…
@j4cktrippa yea, yellow cards, no elbows on the ground, stomps, kicks. 10 minute first round, and two fives minute rounds. just overall a great mma set up. great doctors in japan too. ufc and the athletic commission have a lot to work on.
I dont understand how people say Diaz doesnt get respect or anything like that. 189 likes 8 dislikes. I'm pretty sure everybody loves Nick Diaz. EVERYBODY.
Sucks we'll probably never see him in the Octagon ever again... he had so much potential.. he was reaching the prime of his career. He's only what, 28, 29? If he just stayed with it for 5 more years, he could've been so much more. It's a shame he left so early in his career..
If the Diaz brothers could have just figured out how to deal with the media they could be 10x richer. A good manager and communications coach is what they needed.
Well mma and the UFC specifically only really exploded into the mainstream media within the past 5 years or so. Prior to that very few fighters outside of champions were making a comfortable living from being a professional fighter. There's also the fact that a guy that a guy that has never been in a professional fight makes more money than the athletes that step inside the cage.
Yeah I used to hate them and now they are my favorite fighters. It goes to show you how marketing and media can portray someone negatively for promotion.
No bullshit just the honest truth, Nick & Nate last of the old school fighters
Yeah, their fighters at their core. All new guys are almost getting into it for celebrity, marketing, quick-money grabs based on a persona.
Too many athletes now and not enough actual fighters.
KIEZA SOSA word
nick diaz is a pure gold. he is far better fighter than many are in ufc.. lots of love and respect from india.
I was a professional athlete for 18 years Nick. You're a great sport and hard worker. Love watching your disciplines.
I always thought my anxiety was ridiculously bad till I watched a few interviews of Nick.

Nick Diaz is the best :) , love this guy
I think Nick expresses himself just fine.
The guys been through a lot , he don't want to talk non stop, he don't want to make eye contact , if anyone can't relate to him, u ain't been through any trials n tribulations .

Been watching Nick Diaz fight since I was 11. He taught me what it means to be a fighter.
Two of my favorite "the Diaz brothers"
I have followed the Diaz brothers from the beginning of the UFC. Both of them are great for the sport!!
His fight with Sanchez was a grappling-intense fight.
I found it very exciting seeing all of the transitions that took place in the 3 rounds.

He's so damn calm when he's not fighting or approaching a fight, its unreal
NICK YOUR THE FUCKIN MAN!!

Very well. You win.
Did you feel that way about his antics after the Noons fight after the loss or after the Joe Riggs hospital fight after the loss? Not arguing, just asking. I'm really just curious what you feel about it.

Nick isn't an eloquent person. But considering that, he really does make a lot of sense.
