Judging by the highlights, Waterford v Derry City certainly looked very close. Just unfortunate for the keeper, it's a mis-step. I don't think it's anywhere near as grave an error as Chorazka's to let Shels straight back in and that is the second week in a row that the guy who was considered one of Bohs' best signings has seriously been embarrassed. He has to pull his socks up sharpish because I don't recall Talbot making mistakes of that magnitude last season and maybe Chorazka needs to step back until he understands that isn't good enough. Still was very happy with Bohs' performance generally, they bossed it for much of the game and Shels are certainly not looking commanding lately. Mind you, both Shels and Derry are still on for the Double and their Cup game should be a great watch. Drogs, fair play to them, flying it but still I agree this was clearly a freak result. I thought the FAI Connect app was on the blink initially! You'd like to think Sligo chalk it down and reset. As for the FAI decision, it's tough on Dundalk but I'm not crying into a pint of Harp for them. We have to want more for our sides than they get a couple of European games to give the supporters the odd foreign trip and a few quid for the club for showing up. The domestic association should be doing the necessary to support their chances. I think it's fair to say that Kenny has lifted spirits and LOI self-esteem since his return and I'd rather see his concerns listened to more than the spoilt, self-entitled whinges of Shamrock Rovers to be heeded.
When I look at James Taylor for Drogheda.. how come we (Bohs) couldn't get a striker like JT?? What is Pat Fenlon actually doing at the club?? Shels game: Should have won with our most dominant team display of the season so far. Still no win since May in the league.
If Galway Pat's went ahead so should Dundalk Pat's, be consistent with it. Not sure Dundalk would win if the game wasnt called off as Pat's played ok away to Galway making loads changes but would have helped for sure .
Sligo management promised a reaction after UCD, now they are promising one after Drogheda. We'll see. I think JR would be best served saying less to the media
