Haha yeah, it was an expensive night under the stars that one. I sent the lens of to sigma and it was beyond economical repair as well! So that sheep ended up costing me a lot.
Great video and great shot ! My K20D died because of me and my bad tripod management skills, it was hard to think about the bill too. Sometimes s**t happens, I hope you'll be able to get it back repaired.

Fantastic adventure, really enjoyed it! Will keep an extra eye out for black sleep in the future though 😒. All in all, I think you managed to squeeze out a pretty spectacular nightscape image! Brilliant location and love the comp in all its simplicity. Nice work on all the various camera angles during your vlog btw! As a fellow vlogger I can imagine how much time it must've took setting those up 😅.

Still finding my feet with channel and videos, sometimes I don't do enough b-roll there's and then i wont enough talking... one day i'll find that balance and creating a cohesive video will come easier! ... keeping to the theme of Astrophotography, you must have seen this! th-cam.com/video/ADH89JORFY4/w-d-xo.html OMG! @@GeoffMoorePhotography haha, the struggle is real 😁. I also ALWAYS am thinking out loud if I have enough b roll, travel shots, etc to tell the story. And then also try to focus on making pictures 😅. And yeah... everybody is talking La Palma these days, looks epic! Although I think you are not allowed so nearby at every observatory spot? Not sure though. They do make great foregrounds.

@@GeoffMoorePhotography al good mate, yeah I think it something like 13% larger than UK but long and thing so travel times can add up. Yeah mate my channel is full of some cracking NZ scenery.

Great shot shame about the lens though. I remember being chased by a bull while shooting my old Canon 350D many years ago, thankfully many years ago as if it happened now I doubt I’d escape and it would take a lot more than 300 quid to fix me

Ah you and me both! I pull a muscle nowadays and i'm looking at 6 weeks off work :)
