This is fantastic!! Another amazing job. BTW I've been using your "Compressor 2" lately and I find that it has a very nice saturation/soft clipping, it kinda shaves off transients with character in a very nice way... Thank you so much for your work
Did I put in the white mode in lexikan (one) for you? I didn't forget it - I just had no time to implement it by now. But I guess the white mode will return.
John, you are doing some great work! I do notice you're still using red lettering against a black background. I could wish for another color, perhaps a brighter green so the very small group of us who struggle with red wouldn't have to strain quite so much to read it. But, I don't want to take away from the fabulous upgrades you are doing to your line up of plugins.
Hey John, thanks for constant updating and improving your awesome audio tools! I stumbled again over a "interesting" behavior in some of your plugins: filters are changing their actual values with the changing of samplerate but the knobs show the same value as before the SR change. I used the chain-/fx-instance oversampeling function of the fx-window in REAPER. Is this phenomenon generaly intended or do only i having it with very system (win10, REAPER v.6.64)? I tried this four plugins and they showed the described behavior (pink noise + spectrum analyzer): - Red Lexikan S2 - Khaki Delay - EQT-1A (only highband Q-differences -> wider band with higher SR) - Guitaramp (only cab sim and only when changing an exsisting instance). Can you confirm my observations? Thanks for your great work und Frohe Weihnachten!! :)
Love your plugins. However, it would be great if you could make it so your plugins remember the size scaling settings after it has been rescaled. I always have to resize every instance of your plugins all over my whole mix and it gets quite boring and tiring to do so with all your plugins.
unfortunately this is not up to the developers. We can only give the initial size and changes will not be saved. The programming interface does not give us the opportunity.
Not natively, no. And I have no real plans for getting into the surround business: A lot more effort for the programmer (me) and just a very very few users. Most make music in stereo.
I know that from digital mixers. But for the plugins it would be against my series 2 rules. (I made a concept I want to keep. A concept with rules about how plugins should be and not be. I made that up from my experience before series 2)
The best way to find out is to try them. They're free (barring a donation). I'm currently mixing a song using only Tukan plugins and I find myself surprised at every turn. They're very very good. At this point, it's only about the UI of paid plugins (if you like them and it helps your workflow), but sound wise, the Tukan plugs are legit. The SumChannel is my new favorite channel strip.
In the reapack manager, there is an option "Refresh Repositories". So, do as this: 1. Deinstall "Series 2" 2. Refresh repository (not synchronize, refresh!) 3. Reinstall "Series 2" Does that work? (it should, I hope)
Experiencing the same on Mac OS Mojave as well, with Reaper 6.70. I also wonder if you'd add the plugin groups function to the older series of you plugins as well, John?
This is incredible! Can not thank you enough!!!!!!!
i'm loving that delay!
More wonderful gems from John. Thank you so much for all you do for us in the Reaper world! 😉
Fantastic plugins John 👏❤️
Reaper is now looking jacked 🔥
Thank you so much for making these amazing plugins! this is now my default reverb plugin.
I certainly appreciate what you have done and continue to do. Thank you so much!

Sir, that is the most awesome and usefull delay visualization, thanks for your work!

Beautiful work John, Thanks again!
So inspiring.. back to mixing with this new toy Thnx much John.. God bless
Very good job, many thanks!
i committed to reaper before discovering tukan, someone better pinch my arm ^^
Thank you so much man! you're awesome 🙂
Thank you
😊
Great work, John! First visual nitpick though is the contrast / readability of the red on black text for the lexikan red

Thank you John
the functionality of these series 2 plugins is out of hand! im going to see how many reverb instances I need to crash my computer, wish me luck!
two?
Amazing stuff..

There will be an update soon. I need to put in a high contrast mode, I guess.
You're an inspiration, thank you John.
I've noticed a sidechain input in both plugins. Is it a hidden feature or a not-yet-implemented one?
Awesome video mate ,great new plugins, whitch theme you are using looking nice
It is called "peace" and it is great! Peace is great!
@@johnmatthews8435 Τhank you i hope Peace for everyone on this planet!

Super! 👍
Can you suggest any tutorial to learn how to do plugins?

Is this an emulation of the Lexicon 480L or it just looks alike ?
:) sounds great !
Thank you! Not really an emulation...let's say "inspired by" ;) But I thought you all might like the user interface.

@@johnmatthews8435 ok. Thanks for the reply. You're highly appreciated.
Great stuff! Can any of your plugins run in surround? Or maybe such are in your plans?
Not natively, no. And I have no real plans for getting into the surround business: A lot more effort for the programmer (me) and just a very very few users. Most make music in stereo.
Hey John its not yet a practice in plugins to have a lock parameters button think it be cool.
I know that from digital mixers. But for the plugins it would be against my series 2 rules. (I made a concept I want to keep. A concept with rules about how plugins should be and not be. I made that up from my experience before series 2)
How do they compare to other paid plugins?

Ducker? WTAF!!!
Hi! Red Lexikan is not working on WIN 10 x64... (not showing UI)
@init363 'filter.ZDF_set_sample_rate ' undefined...
How to fix?
Same here not working (red lexikan)

@@johnmatthews8435 tried it and it did not work, I also tried Zip from GitHub, same thing happened.
Sorry. I'll keep searching or the solution. ...don't know yet why it works for most and for others it doesn't
