i made a turbine with a 2 speed transmission just now and oh boy its epic!! specs: 6x4 turbine, 4 stud intake, 2 stud exhaust... it gets a dragster tire to 7.8k rpm..
Have you seen mine turbine? It totally sounds like a F1 car. Also I love lego turbines because there are so customizable and I would say the parts are easier to find and put together than lego vacuum engines. Dang I need to start making more turbines!

Hey man! Nice vid! Are u using the sucking in mode for the vacuum or the blowing mode???
The vacuum is in sucking mode. From experience, it's too hard to use a vacuum in blowing mode to power an LVE or turbine.

Not really but I see how I could at higher rpms
