So why is the battery label says Li-ion when the advertised one is lithium polymer? And isn't it dangerous to have a Li-ion battery just like what happened with galaxy note 7's exploding battery

I broke my mi10tpro and the problem is in the motherboard already, if you don't mind i want to buy the motherboard to be replace in my phone, this is one of the hopeless case for the technician here in the philippines coz they can't find replacement for mi10tpro until i saw this video. That's not a dummy. It's an ambient light sensor that'll supposedly make autobrightness switching much more accurate. Nah curved displays are just a barrage of mistouches waiting to happen.
As someone who fixes phones daily... inluding this one... you made one big mistake, you didnt disconnect the battery at first glance :p could have shorted the board, because you are using metal tweezers(not plastic tools) to unplug the FPC cables... tsk tsk tsk
