Nine Sols is that one guy you met in the café once, who turned out to be very charming and pleasant, so you've been seeing each other almost every day.

@@ErrorNumber404 i don't think it'll blow them out of the water necesarily. People overhype HK too much while there's other games that are equally competent. Blasphemous, ender lillies, this game, grime, ori, FIST or even the heavily inspired haiku the robot are good enough to not be blown out of the water. They're all S tier mv's. It's not like SS's release will make them worse

@@d00mnoodle24 EHHHHHHHH huge list of rather "ehhhh" metroidvanias that you casually put in the same basket as Blasphemous and HK dude, be a bit more realistic. These games are pretty alright, a solid 6 or 7 out of 10, but there are better non-HK's like Bloodstained and Vigil: Order of the Night. That said, I do agree, I found HK, as masterfully as it was crafted, an incredible slog to get through, I hope Silksong is a lot less of a pain in the ass, frankly. HK is a great game, but it's heavily overhyped.

I have waited for this day since 2022.
And it's ABSOLUTELY worth it!
I knew i'd love it the moment i played the demo.
I had my doubts and fears after the multiple delays but in the end this far surpassed my wildest expectations.
With gorgeous art, excellent controls, fun characters and challenging bosses this was more than worth the 3 year wait.

@@jonathanj.3695They had originally promised to bring it to all consoles on their Kickstarter. Hopefully they are working on porting it now that it’s out on Steam

I would like to verbosely describe my positive impressions with various verbal metaphors, but there are not enough words for me. So I’ll say it briefly: this is very cool. For complete delight, there is not enough localization into a language convenient for me.
