Strid may still be alive, but it seems like it's only in spirit. i seen a comment that summarized how i feel about this entirely. this sounds nothing like the Strid I have known and come to love through the years. :( either way, RIP Storm, and I wish they would release some new music.
@@undergroundedtube sure it is, what I mean is that I don't get the feeling I could get from the Strid releases. It is true that time has passed and the people involved are different, I just wouldn't define this performance a Strid one.
@@AlexRemin their three tracks were published in two different releases 🤷

@@amamenox This is because that wall of sound of the guitars that is present on their 1994 EP sounds almost like a white noise which I am not sure if it is possible to be recreated live. Also, keep in mind that Strid do not use keyboards. This "synth"-like sound that you hear on the EP is actually another guitar with some effects like chorus, reverb etc. This is also very hard to be recreated live and even when they try, it does not sound like the production on the EP. I spoke with Lars before his death. It was around 2013 and he told me these things. The whole production on the EP is very hard to be recreated live so that's why you feel the lack of the original atmosphere. We should be glad that after losing two core members forever, after years of inactivity and no official full-length album released they are back and play live. This band means a lot to me since I found them around 2012 and I still have the hope that one day the album will eventually see the light of the day.
Thanks you , thanks you very much !

Unfortunately, this doesn't sound like Strid at all, at least to me.
We assure you this is definitely Strid. Would have been weird if this wasn't Strid ^^
