As the 20th Prime Minister of Canada, Jean Chrétien led his Liberal Party to three consecutive majority governments, from 1993 - 2003. From a constitutional crisis and Quebec referendum, the fallout from 9/11 - and his refusal to enter the war in Iraq - Jean Chretien led Canada through tumultuous times. And after more than 40 years in public office, he is only the 4th Canadian ever to win the highest honour from the Queen, the Award of Merit.

Great Man Jean Chretien.. thanks for the interview. I wish that you had asked him what he think of Canada NOW and some of the radical changes taking place culturally.. i suspect he might be a bit disturbed by that.
