Wow the perfect timing. I just maxed out my ship yesterday by spending tons of resources. Then I tried to learn lvl 10 engravings from hephaistos workshop but still need 2 more upgrades which are really expensive (yes I have the price reduction from merc tiers too). I have absolutely no leather left too. This channel is a blessing for those who are playing this gem of a game long after it's release

exactly, i like Valhalla and Norse mythology and all that , but compared with odyssey, it's nothing , i can play odyssey forever, while i only played Valhalla once and that was more than enough.

Just getting back into playing AC: Odyssey. Messed up on my first playthrough with Kassandra so I started over to play as her brother. This video helped me out so much because I was always upgrading my weapons & gear which led to me always having to grind for materials. Thank you for this. Appreciate it a lot!
Alexios is really not the main character here. The voice acting is much inferior and changes volume and character from time to time. As if it was recorded by different people. Alexios feels like he is lacking a serious portion of intelligence, probably due to his fall... I would always recommend to play with Kassandra. You can just start a new game plus instead, you keep all your gear and you can recollect everything and upgrade your stuff for free.

I just started playing this game and I chose to play as Alexios because it made no historical sense to play as a female character. However, I am loving this game so much and never want it to end that I will start again as Kassandra eventually.
Good strategy, but i mostly farm forts with leaders, and the mercenaries that come for me afterwards and sell all the stuff. For materials i usually go to the other realms (Elyisum, underworld, and Atlantis) the blacksmiths have 3 to 4k max in materials to get from them.
And also the missions from city boards if they have good rewards.
T7 when is the auxesia helm of darkness mercenary going to appear again?
I need it for my 100 percent melee resistance build as I missed the spartan javelin.....
Yo they need to add a Olympus dlc where at the top of the highest point of the map POV: the mountain where Zeus is waiting for you and behind him is the stairs to Olympus and at the end he give you his lighting bolt and tell you you are they key to Olympus where you have to kill the hydra and cerbrus and have to close the stairs to Olympus and keep the bolt where it it only gives you 75 Heath and do 100 damage and you can throw lighting at you’re targets also it lights up even if you’re not using it

Wall runs are a great way to get gear/money and resources in the lower levels. Not very fun but gives you a mjor advantage
It is an absolute waste of time to do any wallrun below level 70. And you will never get any good gear from it aswell. For good gear use the blacksmith reload, for unlimited money you just have to level up.

I started playing Odyssey after finishing Valhalla…within 30 minutes of gameplay I realised how much of a rush-job Valhalla was and how much more enjoyable gameplay Odyssey has…just compare the garbage and mundane Valhalla river runs versus regular Odyssey maritime gameplay
Just got to level 30 and this has saved me so much time on my ac replays on pc😂

I didn’t know this and I instead of doing game plus wanted to do a brand new game and lost those lvls but, now I’m lvl 47 again and after watching this I won’t make the same mistake again. Also if you don’t even want to kill the cultists to get the best gear just buy a set in the store and wait till a higher lvl and turn it into your character. It does the same thing.
Legendary gear is not the best, and the ones in the store are also mostly trash as well. Just get perfect epics for free from the blacksmith, this video shows you which are the best: th-cam.com/video/B4mNJLKA1No/w-d-xo.html

Outstanding knowledge !!! Occasionally there will be a word that is mispronounced enough that I can't understand what it is.
I never have issues getting money components are different story. I was traveling from smith to smith so I could complete upgrades and upgrade ship. Until I recently discovered that the smith I visited in atlanis dlc. He carries thousands of components, no more bouncing around to buy components for me
But in Atlantis is only one blacksmith per region and he only restocks after level up... Btw: you can easily afford all those upgrades at level 70 and beyond when you get serious money and hundreds of resources per dismantled item. So no rush to upgrade your ship, only upgrade the hull and place some badass lieutenants in there.
Just felt good to find a smith that had a good amount of components. Just saved me time of bouncing from smith to smith, and not have to dismantle. With melee res build I already crush everything. But trying to upgrade my weapons at every 5lvls, armor every 10lvls, and try to upgrade ship. Usually come up short on components but not money so for me it just seems easier to buy the components. I'm lvl62 just started atlantis dlc, first time I've played the dlc. Love your videos, played all of the AC games but this one and Valhalla. I slept on this one do to bad reviews. I can see why some traditional AC people may have been upset about some aspects of this game. At the same time this is a great game and I truly regret not diving into this one long ago. Looking forward to more content from you on this one. One question Valhalla buy or wait?

The glowing spear is an ability from the Atlantis DLC, called Ares Madness. You dont need a weapon for it.

I'm really enjoying this game (playing for the first time in 2023, new to AC franchise). One thing I wonder (for anyone willing to answer, not just the owner of this channel): does the game become boring if you one-shot enemies (or crowds of enemies) like in this video? Seems this player has perfected the stats in this game to make very OP weapons. Is the combat still a challenge or does the game mostly become about exploration? I'm a Soulsborne fan, so maybe this is just a different type of game in that respect. Thx

Athens is definitely one of the absolute best to loot spots in the game for overall just materials weapons XP literally go one side of the wall to the next stop at the blacksmith or dismantle stuff and sell it, mostly everything will reset continue as many times as desired get very wealthy very fast doing that, usually about 50% towards your next level up, so it's definitely worth the time even repeating you'll have so much stuff in your inventory it's awesome it's almost addicting
You dont have to grind at all in this game. The game will throw millions at you on higher levels and you can easily afford everything. It all grows exponentially with your level.
Funny I noticed that last night being level 58 I was down to 617 drachmae and took out a midium sized camp not huge not small iether I left with 47000 so yeah definitely noticed quite a sizable score as compared to lower levels, what I meant was Athens being one of the better spots for newer players, for gathering lots of armor and weapons scaling from Gray to purple quality and a lot of guards to stealth kill and keep a chain of stealth killed going getting the XP boost, asper time to score kind of thing, and then then rather than buying like a material booster or what have you they can just dismantle a lot of the stuff and gain the materials faster, I learned that a few years ago from a video watched it and it does work really well
I will repeat myself: There is no need to grind, its all a waste of time. That was the core message of the video. Do not try to farm stuff on lower levels. You ill get that with a single click. Just play the regular missions. You will level up very quick just by doing missions. -> Level 80 after 50 hours in current stream replay.

Problem with low level, not grinding means tough enemies, it gets annoying at times when I cant keep up with my gear lvl, currently I am lvl 22 and my gear is like lvl 16

There are no tough enemies, only crap builds that people use.
Hate to be that guy but, best way to get materials: get to lvl 99. The things you will do to get to lvl 99 will leave you with more drachmae then you will ever need and eneouvh materials to build rome

So I don't got enough money for thr enravings for your lvl 55 hyper crit build...should I farm a few hours with your methods mentioned until I have the money or should I just level up and adjust along the way? Hmmm
If you have the time and you want to get 100% crit chance as quickly as possible you can farm money, but in general you will get way more on higher level. In wall runs, you should get around 50k in half an hour at level 50 or more. Maybe you just buy everything except the last tier, thats the most expensive one.

Hi! I am currently level 99, mastery level 42. I did every single level of this legit. So no exp glitch or farms or whatsoever. How can I still get a lot of exp to level up? I already completed the entire game twice. Also, sometimes when you collect items at level 99, the game will give you the items on level 95 and you still have to upgrade them at the blacksmith, yikes.
1.) Dont get XP after you hit lvl 99, just go for the ability points: th-cam.com/video/O-7-GmpevvA/w-d-xo.html
2.) You get 100 points per new game plus, when you own the atlantis DLC, and complete all the locations and tombs.
3.) Enable level scaling to maximum and dont play on easy then the items are all level 99, same with your enemies.
In the Gear. Do the engravings increase at Level 11, 21, 31,etc or does it dipend on the Level the Gear is at the moment
It depend on the level of the gear, not on your level.

8:29 Why does your health bar is constantly at 25%? Is that a weapon that makes it? Is it worth it or do you die sometimes?
You dont die from a single hit in this game, the game mechanics prevent this, so you can always heal back to your full health (25%) and take another hit. Check out the build videos.
@@T7PDM thanks! i tried the lvl 10 build in a conquest battle but i just take too much damage... had to constantly switch load-outs, use ability to restore health and switch it back again. I did it without the island engravings, maybe that was my mistake...
What’s up T7, this is off from your video, but do you know where to find followers of ares in megaris, I can’t find them since I’ve started playing this game(maybe I’m just stupid), I just want to finish this quest. And I never manage to reach 99 if it’s not for your videos.
There is a cave with 11 in northern Attika and another 4 in a cave near Delphi. This will give you 15, if it appears in a weekly quest.

Would you not also done with the story line while you reach the level of 99 then what is the use of upgrading the weapons and costumes since you would have done that already ?
Whats the point of playing games, dude....
1.) You wont be level 99 at the end of the story, unless you go heavy on contracts, play all side missions and all DLCs.
2.) Obtaining all legendary items in the game and upgrading them will take you over 2 years.
3.) RPGs are meant to evolve your character, to get the strongest and best gear. You will have finished the family story, which is only 1 of 6 main storylines at level 35. You will be a total noob at that point.
