I've never had 2 nickles to rub together but I think God there are so many rich men and women who have a passion for saving this old iron and giving it a lasting purpose entertaining and thrilling the masses.
I have a working show truck 379 Pete. I have SO much more respect for the guys with beautiful ‘working’ trucks versus trailered in dedicated show trucks. Two different animals. Don’t get me wrong, I can totally love seeing the dedication and hard work put into a show truck, but it’s unfair to even put those trucks against the guys that make their living working their trucks daily. Show trucks are fantasy and in my mind not the ‘real world’. Trying to keep a truck looking amazing while working it for a living is SUPER hard!!
Being an 4th generation owner operator who loves any type of truck and have owned and drivn just about every brand of truck from an gas powered b model mack to an kta 600 powered 379 double bunk Pete I have always said that anyone with a pocket full of money or credit cards can buy a new truck chrome it out and win a trophy but show me a 10,15,20 year old work truck that is clean, chrome and shiny and that is a cool truck worthy of being in a show judged against other work trucks that someone has dressed up cleaned up stretched out and appreciated, to me you should have different classes for different trucks!!!! Someone who buys a new truck and spends another 200k on paying someone to build it for them should be in an whole different category there nice for sure but they ain't shit compared to someone who built it as they drive it my thoughts

Can someone let me know how they do the cab floors . Is it just sheet metal colour coded? If so how is it fixed down plse. Keep up the great vids . Helli from the UK.
Probably both Roger. I know some of them get there a week early to prepare and clean the truck just for the weekend show. It's crazy the time they put into these getting them ready. And most of them have 3, 4 5, 6 or more people getting a truck ready all week.
