Eh we’ve played some really tough opponents. And we’re not built on young kids trying to prove themselves anymore. We just need to make it to All Star break and give our guys a well needed break. We’ll be fine, our hitting will come through

The Braves ANSWER with a DOMINATING WIN. Fried was AMAZING, the Offense FINALLY Had a BIG INNING, and Despite 1 Error Costing us a Run, The Defense made SURE it didn't snowball. Still... I love the Braves, but I am worried about us winning the division with how well the Phillies are playing. I would rather us make a wild card and win the World Series anyway
I haven't been too impressed with Short really. I mean he's ok i thought but that squeeze play made me think of him differently like he's one of our no name work horses in the early 90's. That's what this year's team reminds me of is the Braves from 91-95
Me too. I remember the braves of ninety one and ninety two used to use the squeeze play a lot . Both the suicide and safety squeeze. When it is executed properly it is a fun play to watch.
Need the Braves to put together a little streak. I’m okay with them figuring things out early in the year but I don’t want the gap to get too big b/w them and the phiLLies. God I hate that team 😭
Can you believe that Marcell Ozuna has a 15 GAME HITTING STEAK? Can you believe Marcell Ozuna has 15 HRs and 46 RBIs through 46 games this season? He is CRUSHING everything that comes his way and you can just tell when he comes up to the plate that he is LOOKING to crush one. I predict that he is going to hit over 50 homers this year and have about 130 RBIs. Now, imagine if the other Braves get off their asses and start to catch fire?
Snitker from the stupid era of Bobby Cox, he would keep Acuna in the lineup the entire year even if he was hitting 200. And two men at Gwinnet Braves were batting 400. Put in somebody else they could not possibly be do any worse than what Acuna is doing. He at this point is not even playing average
In a way, I agree with you, I do believe that Acuna should be sent down to Gwinnett to work on his mechanics because something is not clicking with him right now. It's almost like he is either a) not trying like he used to or b) the MLB pitchers have finally figured him out (or somewhere in between). Either way, I do think that someone from Gwinnett coming up will be very hungry to prove their worth.
I know he’s had surgery on his knee but it’s frustrating seeing him not hustle, especially when he could get many more hits if he did. I’m not mad at him but I hope in a year or two he can get back to his pre-injury self.
@@skyguy5587 Can't say I blame the guy, I'd hate to show up to the park every day and not succeed no matter how hard I try, and then get razzed for it by my team's fans for it every day. Not conducive to feeling good.
Any way we can get a condensed version of the losses too? I understand only wanting to promote the wins, but I sometimes can't watch all the games and would be nice to watch the losses also. Not posting it kind of tells me it's a loss and spoils a recorded game I could watch.
Put things in context. For most of the year, they didn’t show this. You’d be a “semi fan” had they put up these numbers nightly a people still knocked the Bravos but they have been looking weak for most of the season. Everyone saying that stuff was more than justified. Let’s see how they do against playoff level pitching.
It makes zero sense to platoon Adam and that other boy. They could be hitting 50 points higher if one of them had the starting job. Snitker does not do that with any other position. It makes no sense to it. He has done that every year for that position. I am not impessed with Snitker, I wish he would retire.
@@matchpoint14 There is such thing as a good manager but a great manager will keep in the Braves in contention every single year. Bobby Cox kept the Braves in contention every single year. Snitker (who was with the Braves for over 40 years) keep the streak going and still in contention every single year as well. If you were the General Manager, I bet you would bring someone in who don’t know “the Braves way” of doing things to come manage and we end up in last place. LOL. Yeah I’m a smart-ass but I know I’m right as well.
I love the announcer calling it a Maxterpiece at the end. 🙌🔥

Exactly hopefully this offense gets going
Great win for the Braves tonight and great game by Max as well

Chris Sale??
I'll take them both
"Does Elvis only have Coke in that glass?" - You got me LOL.

Love the hustle from Acuna and Albies on the ground balls in the top of the 1st 🙄
I hope this is where we start to roll and I hope JR starts rolling
I’m glad the Braves won But that Porter Hodge looks pretty strong 😳
Awesome Pitching From Max Fried
Pay the man his money, AA. Don't screw this up with Max like you did with Freddie.
Pay Max Fried
What a Maxterpiece!
Can’t believe max was five pitches away from his second Maddux of the season. And it’s only May! Maximum Fried indeed!!
A Maddux has to be a shutout, so he was also 2 runs away.
@@lukedeakin7124 an oversight on my part. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ it was a long day
Say whatever you want personally about Ozuna, but without him this season, this team isn’t even over .500
The old Braves showed up this game, lots of hitting, a lot of runs scored, and more than 1 or 2 innings they would score in.

Great win but Acuña really needs to hustle to first - you can’t play your whole career scared of injuries
At this point, I gotta believe AA & Snitker are telling him to take it easy if there’s little to no chance of getting a hit.
