    That was the same issue I was having. That secret cord came lose after I moved my bike to a different room.

    THANK YOU!!!! I seriously was dreading having to call service support. I unplugged everything you said and then plugged it all in again - and voila! It worked!! I had tried doing each one a time before, but it only worked after I unplugged all three for about 20 seconds. You're awesome. THANK YOU!!

    They really should list this as a troubleshooting option on their website! Our peloton plus wouldn't turn on when we moved it to a new room. This cable had slightly unplugged.

    Just had my bike delivered. Did one ride and decided to change position. Unplugged, moved, tried to turn back on and nothing. You saved me a lot of frustration. Plugged that little guy back in and good to go! Thank you sooooooo much!!!

    Thank you Sarah, you are better than Peloton support. I have had my Bike+ for 5 days when it went dead. Peloton could not trouble shoot it but your TH-cam saved me. I am back riding!

    Your video was a game changer -- thank you!! SAME exact issue with my new Peloton Bike Plus... I even had a new touchscreen sent to me after Peloton Techs couldn't help with the troubleshooting! NOWHERE is there ANY mention of this other cord that clearly is coming loose on these bikes... PELOTON needs to get it together and put this information out there -- and have their delivery team be sure to check this connection during set-up!! A lot of hassle for a very simple fix -- thank you Sarah!!

    You’re the best!!! My bike got moved and the screen wasn’t coming on. I unplug all that I could see but didn’t know about that connection. It got loose from being moved. You saved me hours of frustration and time trying to figure out what is wrong!!!

    Omg! First Peloton Plus last week had a wire that wouldn't stay in place. The replacement bike came today. The monitor wouldn't work when they set the new bike up. After twenty minutes they gave up and told me to call Peleton. I Googled it and found you. I followed your video and immediately found the problem. Beneath the brake inside the frame. Thank you.

      LOL! Imagine my frustration when I went searching for the answer and there WASN'T ANYTHING on here. That's the reason I had to video it. My husband was like "wait.....YOU made a video about it???" I told him, "It has to help SOMEBODY!" my go-to problem solver is TH-cam! Just replaced a thermostat in my pretty much new Samsung dryer, it was wayyyy easier and way cheaper than waiting on a repair man.

    I recently moved my bike plus and it completely stopped working ( neither the bike nor monitor turns on ) checked all connections including the one in this video and followed troubleshooting videos on peloton site … nothing seems to be working. anyone has any suggestions for what I should do next ?       I think that one is plugged in there WAY too loosely!! (probably because they couldn't fit their hands up in there either) Glad my video was helpful, I should have at least washed my hair, looking like a hot mess on the you tube. LOL

    This is so helpful - thanks! I found a way to make plugging it back in a little easier. Use one hand to slide under the bar to get near the area to plug the cord. Once you are close to the area, use the other hand (right hand in my case) to help guide and block the surrounding area so that the plug will secure and not slide to the wrong spot. hope it makes sense. good luck!

    I recently moved and tried to set my Bike+ back up and was upset when it wouldn't power on, it was moved carefully and the monitor was taken off and moved separately. I don't think I would have found this loose cord unless I saw your video. Thanks, you are a life saver!

I just moved houses and I thought I completely messed the spike up because the screen wouldn’t power on I thought I found all the plugs but sure enough the one right above the wheel was the one I was missing!       Yeah, sorry, lol, I'm not a cinematographer, just a surf shop owner, Peloton newbie, dog Mom, mediocre wife, and a natural "over-sharer". So when I figured if out, I had to share it with as many folks as I could, as fast as I could. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Boo I did check this and I can see the brake pad moving up and down when it powers on but still the screen doesn’t power on. Plugging power directly into the screen works fine but when it powers on it gives an error code. Makes me think the problem is between the screen and the brake system.

      well, F word. yeah, the error code is probably because it knows the power isn't going through the bike. I stopped when I found my solution, but I imagine there are more little plugs somewhere, get a flashlight and borrow a kid with small hands to feel around in there. Sending you all the good vibes, I know how frustrating that is.
