Dimir Crimes has been my favourite draft archetype - it is really fun to play. Not so fun to play against when everything you play gets killed, bounced and otherwise crime'd on.
Green is extremely good this set. But I feel most color pairs are very playable. I have only played three drafts myself, and (never happened before) trophied in all of them. The first was Azorius flash, the second Izzet twinspells, the third (just finished it) Boros... good stuff, I guess. The Azorius deck didn't have any bombs whatsoever, the Izzet relied on (splashed) bombs like Bonny Pall, the Boros deck just had high card quality all around and had two Stingerback Terrors to seal the deal. I love a format where all of that is viable to such a degree!
Gisa is super busted. Single-handedly won me multiple games i had no business winning. Had a nice one where i targeted my opponent with my Vault Plunderer, then blocked and used Fake Your Own Death to bring it back and target them again, then swung with 6 3/3 menace while they were at 17 and I was at 2.
I drafted a perfect dimir crimes deck. Multiples of every good piece you could want. Still lost to mana issues, bad luck, bombs and green decks. So many drafts lost to the same stuff over and over. I hate this format. It’s not about deck building it’s about how many bombs you can cram into your green deck.
Bonny Pall, attack, draw a card, play a free land. Oh, you were lucky enough to have two removal spells? Doesnt matter. Villanous wealth next turn, play your best card on my side for free. Oh, you board wiped to survive? Sweet, more room for my Jasper Flint. Set is insane
I feel this. I drafted a good red black crimes deck with 3 bombs, went second most games, they drew their bombs i didnt draw mine, removal didnt come on time, went 1-3... like bruh, this set just feels so un balanced
34:25 Nummy: "Lots of non game here"
And I am thinking... That's Magic Baby
The Gruul pounding immediately after the perfect Crime game was 👌
I had a 7-1 on my first draft with Grixis Crimes, one of the best decks

@55:12 hmmm~ seems like you could have countered here, since you had 2 mana open. Really fun deck and makes me want to draft a Dimir deck :)
They could have paid for the counter
I couldn't believe how many deserts you passed, but it didn't matter. Such a cool deck!
Green/red is really powerful in this set and you don't even necessarily have to rely on their rares to make those colors work
Kinda new, at 47:12 wouldn't bouncing the paladin be leathal?
This draft shows that marrying your first pick is never ideal. Stay flexible. Well done 😊
Dimir crimes when it works, is crazy good
Numot is sleeping on the Bandit’s Haul. Those things put in work in crime decks.
I won on a mulligan to 4 with my ub crimes deck. The opponent curved out but so did I and the extra value I got ended up winning it for me. Mad.
That last game :)
"Man, three games in a row we didn't really get to play Magic..." sums up the Arena experience pretty effectively...

Game 2 is 80% of my games in this format
"That's Magic, baby"
"Man, three games in a row we didn't really get to play Magic"
Make your mind up! 😅
Great work. Deck was cool. Amazing content as usual. Thanks.
So impressed with drafters like Kenji that make things look so easy.
This Dimir deck was absolutely filthy.

69% winrate…noice!
19:55 🤨
Grixis with a splash of whatever the third color is what i play if green isn't open OR the bombs dictate so
Nice work, criminal
Feels like "non games the format" with all the infinite value bombs and the frequency of them
Did he just connect four? tic-tac-toe, four in a row?
last format.. BOROS OP into Sultai OP
Nummy so late on this archetype, very surprised it took him this long to draft it
When you said you got bonked. You should have said ranched
You can't trick me into drafting decks that don't have G
CRIMES

Same I also lose in such ways. Pretty shib.

Same, I dont like Bomb heavy formats. I just had five 7-x ixlan quick drafts today. Hit mythic, suggest drafting those while they are up.

@@TimMachineQS I loved this set at first then realized I had been winning almost all the die rolls lol
failed fjording
oof so many non-games this format.
