Girlfriend is a song recorded by Paul McCartney & Wings, for inclusion on their 1978 album London Town. It was originally planned for Michael Jackson however, with Paul offering the track to Jackson at a party in hollywood before taking it back and recording it himself with his band Wings, and issuing it in 1978 on their album "London Town". Jackson later recorded it after Quincy cooincidentally suggested Jackson record the track after hearing it on London Town.
This mix combines both the vocals from Jackson as well as the Wings version of the song, creating a duet between Jackson & McCartney with Linda in the harmonies.
