  • My corded weed whacker after 21 years finally cashed in its chips. I didn’t want to go the gas route and saw that Horbor Freight had a deal were if you bought the Atlas 40v/80v battery they threw in a tool, I went with the weed whacker since I needed the battery for the new Atlas mower. Kind of a no brainer really.

Thank you for the compliment! The trimmer is much more powerful than the corded one that died after twenty years. (R.I.P.) The bamboo grass behind my garage used to laugh at the old trimmer. This Atlas trimmer made short work of it, right down to the dirt. No problem! 👍🏼

@@scottwoodresearch good to know! I have a trusty echo 2 cycle that is a little beast. But I would like a battery option for quick trims around the house. I'm debating on the Bauer or Atlas offering. I've had nothing but good results with all of my Bauer power tools.

@Sooflojoe so. My buddy across the street from me has the Bauer. After seeing what the Atlas can do he wishes he had gotten the Atlas. The bonus is that the battery works with the Mower, 16 & 18 inch chainsaw and blower. And my buddy wised he had seen that Harbor Freight offered a lawn mower or he would have gone with the Atlas.

@@scottwoodresearch thanks for info. I was actually considering the atlas lawnmower in the future, so this is the icing on the cake 😉

I love mine. I just used the 40V chainsaw (came free with the purchase of the 80/40 volt battery). It works great and it will do 99% of what I will need one for. I’ll be posting a review of that this weekend. Cheers!
