He's a cowboy guys. That's what your legs look like when you ride a horse for a living and not just for fun. They called it "bandy legged", bandy being an old fashioned word for rooster. Check out a rooster. Anyway, if you think the legs are weird, lift up the cape and check out his hemorrhoids.

Another top quality review! My only query is why leave out a quick spin around the packaging? Recently Play Arts Kai have made the effort to put some impressive artwork on there so I'd like to see that, if only long enough to pause it for a better look. This is actually one of the Timeless Batmans I was looking forward to the most based on that sick, tattered silhouette alone, so I hope to pick it up whenever I can nab a good deal!
NIce figure! This is one of those where I had to make a call because I collect several different lines...and this guy as cool as he is didn't make the cut into my collection...but still...great to see how cool he is.

I've never been the biggest fan of westerns either but I was looking forward to this one the most.

Play Arts are done with the DC variants line correct? Because a Jonah Hex figure similar to this would have been pretty cool.
I really enjoyed the video. I just purchased this figure and I can't wait to get it. This wild west batman will be my 3rd Play Arts Kai batman. I have the armored variant and the steampunk ones. I will buy the spartan and bushido batman later.
the things in the arm are knifes, they are spposed to replicate the fangs in batmans gloves
The hook from gun is removable ;) But I have problem with hands, I cant fit gun nor the axe into any hands there is.

I guess that the axe resembles a 'Tomahawk' to fit with the wild west theme. Tomahawks are thrown so it works as a supplement to his batarangs maybe.

@AnthonysCustoms The knives on batmans arms are like that because u throw most throwing knives by holding the blade so when he throws the knives hes holding it by the blade first

This figure looks great. My only gripe would be the face. I would prefer a more gritty Clint Eastwood looking face than the young clean shaven one. Great video review. Looking forward to getting mine.

i think the sheaths for the knife is just a way they connected it as the blades would stick out so batman would just put in the sheath and strap it up, thats just my guess. Anyway great rewiev

That's a awesome looking figure. Looks like a dapper Lone Ranger... lol. I think the axe is supposed to be a tomahawk which would make sense with the western theme. I agree with you regarding his upper thighs... makes him look like he has womanly child bearing hips.

It's funny, most people when they see this paint version, which is the normal paint scheme for the Wild West Batman, they actually think this is Robin.
The 2015 SDCC version which I purchased is a purple, blue and black scheme which then makes it look like Batman.
In 2014 when these were revealed at Comic Con, this Wild West figure was next to Steam Punk Batman and we all thought it was Robin.

Though his face looks too young or like nightwing, but what i got is the limited blue one which makes him more like nightwing..then i can buy batman and then maybe robin

***** ended up getting this, and it's really cool. Had a little trouble getting him to stand in a cool pose on his own cuz he's a little back heavy. But once I did he looks slick. Nice review and good recommendation.

Tiger Bub its a bigger figure with extra arms, fancy wings and all kinds of other body parts. i am getting it though
2:40 when you showed the arm blades i noticed there are 2 shades of brown so it looks to me like the handle is belted into the sheath on the arms blades out, but its still a bit impratical i get the idea, arms weapons but to replace them would be such a bitch irl

I also don't particularly care for the whole western theme, which is why i overlooked this figure, but it really is one of the better looking batmans. I think the brown is a little too deep and the axe seems oit of place, but i otherwise like it. Is there any reason this one is cheaper than the rest? I figured it'd be the typical $200, but it's $120.
Why would he need a cape like that? They should have gave him a poncho would have been more apt.

Cock Puncher PAK are hit or miss with faces. The recent Origins Joker has an amazing face sculpt. I also liked the Wonderman and Supergirl. Tbh this headsculpt is pretty nice. I dig it.
Cock Puncher I can see where you're getting at but all cowboys look badass due to their beards and mustaches. Obviously Batman wouldn't have this so it doesn't blow his identity plus it would look silly. Also this face is accurate to the source material. I don't see the Zack Efron reference at all in person at least.

Ah I see. Well thats the thing with art, figures, movies, etc.. Its all preference and everyone has different taste. I think he looks fantastic as is and in person he looks even better.
Yeah when you're comparing it to that its different. You just have to pick and choose the PAKs that those companies don't have. The Cloud from Advent Children for example is probably the best PAK I have seen thus far and the only 11"+ Cloud out there.

Bloodborne action figures would be awesome. Not sure how the transforming weapons would work in toy form though.

So instead of tackling an actual hero of the west from DC comics, like Jonah Hex, we get B man in a cowboy style.....why? Cause well, put his face on anything, people eat it up.
For me..........I know its the figure for me, but this was the chance to do lesser known DC characters like Jonah Hex or Martian Manhunter or Etrigan the Demon, etc. Nope.
I loe to await something like Space suit B man or Knight B man...

Yes. It is. You misunderstood the instructions. If you were supposed to push it through, why would they show the gun and the hook as separate pieces? Its telling you to slide the gun in and then reattach the hook. Just try pulling the hook out and you'll see. Thank me later.

Mine came out super easy which was why I was so baffled that you slide it through lol. I mean thats a terrible design choice if it were meant to be that way. I say heat it up and try to take it out then.
Jonathan Estevez the directions show it with an arrow pointing down (the arrow is the same one showing that the gun can slide down into the holster). while i do think it would make more sense that it is meant to be removed, if that was the case, the instructions would have shown the arrow point from the hook toward the gun and the hook would have been a stiffer plastic. this is all just supposition of course but everything other than common sense shows that they intended it to be permanently connected to the gun unfortunately. ultimately, its not that big of a deal so which ever way it works it accomplishes the same thing.
