I love Andrea Nelson, she’s so joyful, when I watch her she makes me feel happy. I hope you feel better soon. Thanks for posting a vlog for us when you aren’t feeling great. xxx
Dear Diane, thankyou for taking the time to post a video when you clearly have been experiencing health problems . This is a big world and there's room for us all and there's no harm in getting inspired by others art etc, as I don't know about anyone else , but I certainly do from you , to which I am eternally grateful. I hope you are ok and sending love 😘 X Btw Diane love the cards you painted , adorable 🥰
Thanks so much for your kind words Susan, very much appreciated! My food sensitivities sometimes catch me out - it seems I’m now allergic to chickpeas (as is my sister!) Thanks for your loyal support and so glad you enjoyed these little cards!
I recently found out that "nightshades" don't agree with me. (Tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, paprika, and etc) It's crazy how many things have paprika as an ingredient! I had been having so many digestive issues and discovering this new sensitivity discovery has been so helpful. Take care Diane! @DianeAntoneStudio
Diane, these cards are beautiful! I can never get enough of watching you sketch, paint, create! Andrea Nelson is such a charming and talented artist. It's so kind of you to give her a shoutout. I'm always impressed by artists like you that have enough confidence and kindness to mention another artist's name on their channel. You and Tamsin are gifts to us. Thank you for another two fabulous card ideas. Oh, and I love the way you used the candle edge to create your stunning star. xo
Just think these are the cutest things must give them a try. Thanks for all your help.I hope you are feeling better soon 😍 💖 love to all from Ontario 😍 🙏 ❤️ 🇨🇦
I love that bear! My city's coat of arms is a bear, so this is so appropriate as a card. I enjoyed watching you paint both cards. Hope you are feeling better, Diane!
Yay! I knew immediately when I saw the bear that was Andreas! I keep saying I want to try making her bear. Thank you for the video! I always love your work.
Absolutely great tutorial! What a balmy bear and serene sheep! I really appreciate learning how to outline with color and then wet the surrounding to let the color bleed. Backgrounds are daunting to me. Thank you!
Thank you for all your tutorials. Thank you as well for all the wonderful noise from your studio. I enjoy hearing the animals and the rain. You are an inspiration!
Love your ideas, especially the little lambs! I think we all not that I consider myself an artist but we borrow ideas from other artists or wherever! ❤
I have a very hard time doing simple cute drawings, have always done “realistic” and it’s hard to just relax and do a different style. I am trying your card designs , very fun but you make them look easier than they are! Thanks for these!
Oh no! Reminds me of the time I was traveling and chose the “healthy” entree on the menu - let’s just say I had to excuse myself while checking in at the hotel. The lady in the bathroom was laughing at me - I’m like, “do not choose the “healthy” item!” Cute cards!
I love both pictures. The bear is so cute and makes me smile. I love the Christmas star and sheep, it's just beautiful. The techniques are fun and I can't wait to try them.
Hi Diane...I'm so sorry you had that sudden problem! I had that happen to me at church several months ago. I love the paintings, especially the lambs and the starry sky! Hope you are feeling better soon!😊❤ PS: I still can't go to church, but I am some better after treatment.
Oh, I sympathise. I can’t spend time in churches either being allergic to mould - and places like wine cellars are also impossible. In fact part of my own house, despite our best efforts, are off-limits to me!!!
Hi Diane: I can totally understand the "digestive" issues. My youngest son has Ulcerative Colitis and has been off work since July as he can hardly eat and has lost a lot of weight and strength. I hope you feel better soon. Thank you, as always, for sharing. 🙏❤
I love those little paintings.....cool techniques!! I've never been on tictic but I discovered Andrea Nelson here on youtube about a year ago....can't get enough! Thanks for sharing
I also like Andrea's tiktok, Sending well wishes to you today for whatever ails yoou. I'm currenrly under the weather also and watching your videos are really inspiring. Even though I'm in southwest louisiana, my mother-in-law is a British citizen living with us and also enjoys your dialogue and dry sense of humour. Thanks for all your efforts!
Oh, gosh - I'm sorry to hear you developed / discovered another food sensitivity. These are cute designs, and I really like how you did the background for the polar bear.
Thank you this! I did the Polar Bear, but in Australia at the moment, where I live in Victoria, it’s 41 degrees Celsius. So I couldn’t do the background properly lol. I’ll have another go tomorrow.
Diane, thank you for your video today. Hope all is well now. Suffering with IBS/Diverticulitis I can emphasise with digestive problems. Merry Christmas, You take care ⛄️🎄🎉💖
First off if needed sending prayers and or good thoughts for what is happening to you, yes if you wish to share I have an ear and a virtual hug- I do follow Andrea from Instagram and you tube, when she does animals it seems to me her intention is to use shapes for easy follow , I for one hate to draw but I give it a go… copy is the highest form of flattery 🥰🎨 be well I do so look forward to your posts, voice and method of creating 🤩
Thanks so much Maria! I think there’s a lot to be said for keeping it simple, especially if you have mince pies in the oven to watch! I appreciate your kind comments. I hadn’t heard of Andrea before but I’ll be looking out for her. I’m fine now, just a digestive disorder!!!
I kept waiting for you to wipe off the star with a damp cloth since you put the wax down. I thought you did that so then you would have the white paper show through...?
In this case I didn’t want to go back to white, I wanted a “rustic” effect with an uneven glow. Not 100% there yet but I’ll try another way. The candle wasn’t really good enough, I need one I can make into a point and didn’t have one to hand x
Here is message which we are posting to everyone who inquires about how to use the system. Please take the time to read it through carefully as it should answer all your questions about using your pass. If you've visited our website recently (which I hope you have!) you will have noticed that things are a bit different where it comes to free sketches. And if you missed the recent video in which we explained the changes (which I hope you didn't!), you might be wondering whether the free sketches are in fact still free at all... So I'm here to make sure that all of our wonderful Patrons know that the sketches ARE still free, and that all you need to do to access them is to buy a "Studio Insiders Pass" for a one-off purchase of $1. Once you've purchased the pass you'll automatically get 10 credits every month to use for sketch downloads. And the great news is that you'll now be able to download the sketches you want in one click - no more checking out for free sketches!! Plus, the download links will never expire. If you need to re-download at any time, that's fine, it won't use another credit. And if you're a member of our second or top tiers and you need more than ten sketches in a month - just email us and we'll add more credits, because you're entitled to as many as you'd like! This change is part of our efforts to make the site more secure and easier to run and maintain, so that we can keep costs in terms of both money and time to a minimum, so that we can keep on offering all of our 300+ sketches for free :) To buy the Pass: dianeantone.com/product/studio-insiders-pass/ If you don't already have an account on our website, you can create one during checkout. Once you've bought the pass, when you want to download a sketch: 1. Make sure you’re logged in (click the head and shoulders icon at the top of the page) 2. Find the sketch you want. DO NOT put it in the basket. 3. Just underneath the ‘Add to basket’ button you’ll see a new colored rectangle which says “Download this product for 1 credit” 4. Click on the coloured button - your sketch will be downloaded to your device! Some devices will open the sketch automatically. Others will save to files or to a downloads folder. You might see a popup banner or bar at the top or bottom of the page. Keep your eyes open for these popups! If you don’t see the coloured rectangle, either you’re not logged in, or you haven’t bought the Studio Insiders Pass, or you’ve used up all of your credits for this month. You have to download sketches one at a time with this system, but there’s now a Wishlist on the website too, which you can use if you want to think about which sketches you want to use your credits for. Just click the heart icon where it says ‘Add to Wishlist’. You can view your Wishlist here: dianeantone.com/wishlist/ This new system is still somewhat of a work in progress so we know it’s not perfect… We’ll be creating an FAQ / support page soon, but in the meantime if you have any questions or problems please send them via our contact form: dianeantone.com/contact Thank you for reading through this message, and we hope you find the new system easy to use once it’s set up! Best wishes and happy painting! Tamsin
I “ copy “ your work and the works of other artists all the time, for the basic idea the artist has presented. Truth be told I am not talented enough to actually make a copy close enough to the original to take anything away from another artist. Your Polar Bear has been painted in a similar form by others on TH-cam and probably on other social media platforms also. It’s all good.
I love Andrea Nelson, she’s so joyful, when I watch her she makes me feel happy. I hope you feel better soon. Thanks for posting a vlog for us when you aren’t feeling great. xxx
Thanks so much, Shirley! Yes she is great fun! Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

Yay! I knew immediately when I saw the bear that was Andreas! I keep saying I want to try making her bear. Thank you for the video! I always love your work.
I LOVE hearing the rain in the background!!
I wish we would get a bit of rain.
I wish I could send it to you!
Congratulations on 160000 subscribers Diane 🎉 yay! Love your paintings! ❤✝️🙏🏻
Thank you so much!

Thank you for all your tutorials. Thank you as well for all the wonderful noise from your studio. I enjoy hearing the animals and the rain. You are an inspiration!
Many thanks! I’m so glad you enjoy the background noises. Not everyone does, but I can’t change it even if I wanted to!
I love these 2 cards you did tonight food allergies are the pits…ugh. Feel better😊💗
Yes they are, thanks so much!
Dear Diane, may God bring much healing ❤
Thanks so much Angie, appreciate your prayers xxx
Love your ideas, especially the little lambs! I think we all not that I consider myself an artist but we borrow ideas from other artists or wherever! ❤
Thank you, Diane! Love them both!❤
I don't know why, but I came obsessed by that bear. I have paint it all over again now 4 times... 🙃I love it. Thank you.😊
I’ve done it four times too, and each one has its own personality!
I have a very hard time doing simple cute drawings, have always done “realistic” and it’s hard to just relax and do a different style. I am trying your card designs , very fun but you make them look easier than they are! Thanks for these!
You can do it! Just don’t try so hard and use my sketches to keep it simple!
Congrats on reaching 160K, Diane and Tamsin!
I love the sweet simplicity of the lambs gazing up at the star!
Thanks so much Cathy!!❤️
Oh no! Reminds me of the time I was traveling and chose the “healthy” entree on the menu - let’s just say I had to excuse myself while checking in at the hotel. The lady in the bathroom was laughing at me - I’m like, “do not choose the “healthy” item!” Cute cards!
Thanks so much for the sympathy!!! You know what I was talking about!!😱🥵
Beautiful I love those cards

Hi Jane, a challenging digestive issue, hence the video title! Ugh. But all better now!

been there, done "that" last week after taking barium for a scan last Monday. 😂
Oh dear! It’s horrible isn’t it!
Hi there, I purchased the studio insiders pass but I don’t seem to be able to find it on the website.
