I live in the county outside a small town in a very rural part of Mississippi, and so I am very thankful for people like you, and others like Laura and Leslie of the Knit Girllls to keep me up to date on my crafting. In fact, when I first started watching the KGs they were on their way to a Loopy Ewe retreat before you moved away from Missouri. I only started back cross stitching during the pandemic so am still just discovering wonderful things that have been around for quite a while. All the Flosstubers are new to me! With my last name, Rose, I'm loving all the samplers with roses as their theme. Butterflies too. Wouldn't that fabric with the subtle rose background be beautiful on something like Anna Thies or D Freitag 1849! As for favorite Fall food, where I live, in the Fall, one of the men's organizations cooks a stew that it sells as a fund raising project. Brunswick Stew is like a combination corn chowder with tomatoes and lima beans added with chicken and pork, or for hunters, game like squirrel and rabbit. When I learned to cook it, I was told it's done when the spoon used for stirring stands upright. This stuff is delicious, and if you want to try it, versions of the recipe are online.
I like to finish as much as stitching. I am thankful for the beauty of a butterfly on roses. As for the snake it is a part of the story, the fall it happened.
Sherri, as a returning crossstitcher who loved it in the 80s, I am THANKFUL for the new world of crossstitch and the Flosstubers who share their work with all of us. Carol in Texas
Enjoyed my trip to Colorado Cross Stitcher today. However I am thankful to be home. The drive from Fort Collins to 34 was 35 minutes for about 10miles with the Blue Angels performing over the freeway the whole way. All of a sudden one of them came at us head on low enough that when he dipped his wings right in front of my car I could read Blue Angels on the underside of the wings! Then he flew over the car as he gained height. Talk about loud. I was talking to a friend on the phone who was just shocked at the noise. I never figured I would come that close to a figher jet! Loved the shop and the video. Lots of eye candy. Marty H.
Thanks for a another wonderful Flosstube episode. I have had many opportunities to watch the Blue Angels practice and perform. Their precision flying is absolutely amazing. Thank you for showing the different fabric types. Roses are my favorite flower and I’m thankful for the beautiful color butterflies bring to a garden. I wish you continued success with growing your business.
I am thankful for all the abundance of produce from my allotment, pumpkins and squashes, apples and blackberries this time of year. I love to make spicy pumpkin soup. Roses 🌹
I lived for awhile in Pensacola, Florida as a child where the Blue Angels are home ported. They practiced frequently over our house. Now I live in Maryland near Annapolis, and every year the Blue Angels perform during the Naval Academy graduation. It is a sight to behold. Roses and butterfly

I am thankful I have discovered your videos. My favorite autumn foods are autumn squash soup and pumpkin bread. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and creativity!
First things first - your hair looks great! The cut and highlights are so flattering on you. My other favorite part of this video is seeing the different linen colorways. It's so helpful seeing them next to each other and opened up. I find it can be tricky shopping online for linen and this way I feel like I'm seeing it in person.
You're so sweet! I just rewatched a portion this morning and thought it looked kind of like a mess! 🙃 You're so right on shopping for linens - it's a bit of a gamble when shopping for the hand-dyes, but also part of the fun in getting a surprise!

I would try the small pillow that is on the bottom, it's gorgeous. I did that with 40 count and I was so glad I did. He always gets very excited when he comes through the door and says something smell good!!! Be Thankful and I love Roses, they are one of my favorite flowers.
