Nick Inwood the Arsenal job would be too tough for him anyway that needs more than an overhaul he’s failed with built clubs so a rebuild job is something I feel he’s not capable off he’s also not as involved in training sessions as managers are nowadays he comes from the old coaching methods where he just oversees the training and doesn’t actively participate in all the drills and in a team like Arsenal where the players are babies that need an arm around them I feel it wouldn’t work well for him Everton a much better fit since he has the players too try and achieve their objective and they don’t have as high an expectation than arsenal do he could give Everton a platform to finally finish in the top 6

Ancelotti has won the Champions League 3 times. He's also won the Italian, English, French and German league titles. As Real Madrid manager, he crushed Guardiola's Bayern Munich 5-0 on aggregate, with less than 35% possession in both matches (tactical masterclass worthy of a Trapattoni or Helenio Herrera). And he learned from one of the best, Arrigo Sacchi, being his assistant at Italy when they reached the WC final in 1994.

Too early for Everton to appoint a manager like Ancelotti. They need someone with more energy and hunger at this stage. They can beat everyone else, as long as we keep winning those derbies and generally staying ahead of them on lists of merit. I'm curious to see how Ancelotti gets on in a scenario that presents a set of challenges he has yet to face in his managerial career. Can he pick up and restore a struggling team? He would do well to keep Ferguson on in a coaching role.

Therefore he needed to give them great motivation and a good game system in which they could improve their strenghts and cover their weakness. He didn’t do a great job. That’s it. He only gave a great mentality in champions league where you had matches overloaded with anxiety and he was very good to ease that off and give them confidence.

I dont think we need an overhaul like arsenal. We already have some top quality players. If Ancelotti can sign 2 or 3 top quality players in January (including a top top striker, which is essential though), we'd have a good quality team. With Fergusons Braun and discipline and Ancelotti's brains and tactical sense, there's no reason we can't start climbing that table. I still don't think he's long term though, he's not the type of manager to stick around for ages. 1 or 2 years, steady the ship, then we'll get someone like Eddie Howe to take us to the next level! We definitely have better players than most people realise. As an evertonian, Im excited to see what happens!

Everton need a long term project to build a side. On paper it sounds a great appointment because of the name , in reality hes not lasted longer than 2 years for a decade.
