Wesley, I don’t know if you read these comments but you could have easily won this show. I noticed two things in particular. First in the front relaxed pose your shoulders seemed crunched forward. Shoulders back, chest out would look better. Second, when they call for the favorite classic pose, you can make a better choice. That twisting double bicep is not showing your best. You dominate in the front double bicep shot and the most muscular shot for you is amazing so if that can be your classic pose, smash it. I thought you won every comparison shots but the back double biceps. Great showing for you. I would have scored you first, ruff diesel second and Fabio third.

Agree about his front relaxed pose 100%, but the twisting fdb is a very good pose for Wesley. It really gives the illusion of tapering his waist. The problem is, it has to be hit and presented at the perfect angle to make the best impression.

Leg improvements are amazing. Your physique is ideal. Don't get discouraged! If you keep going the judges will have to recognize you as champion one day. Many greats from the past stopped one show too soon! You are what classic should be.
I have to admit the Brazilian guy had a strong back, very big muscles, and well-defined lines. His legs were big as well, although not as sharp as yours Wesley. Overall, I think it's still a good enough place to be in the top 3, especially considering you already got the Olympia confirmation, so this wasn't so much of a necessary 1st place.

Wesley you look at another level - the Asian competitor and the guy to your right looked competitive with you. The attention to detail your height your quad definitions and size you got it your on your way
In my opinion you we're the most classic on stage, as well as most dry. I think ruff diesel was looking very small despite the weight increase allowed. You can only do your best & it's then down to the judges. Onwards to the olympiad keep up the great videos, stay golden 😊
Fabio is a good bodybuilder but I think he’s more suited for 212. He has a ton of quality muscle but lacks the aesthetics and posing that a classic physique requires.

Brother, he have 91 kg, 212 its equivalent as 96kg. He would have only 5kg to grow he would be "outmuscled" by tinny guys like Clarida that look like a mini Coleman. He wouldnt be a really top tier bb on 212, he can be a great open. But cmon, open is WAY more dificult than any other category and the guys need to use lot more drug, training much heavier and eat like animals. If he have the weight to do classic why he shouldnt? And why HE shouldnt win? The only rule is "do the weight" and he did.. Wesley was on great and have a great line, Fabio is more muscular, but both could win and no one would be mad. Buf Ruff really shouldv been third..

When I watched the stream I thought you were going to be 1st easily. Great performence, great shape. Only thing I personally would change is your fav classic pose since that first double biceps does not reveal your full classic potential. Great show

You deserved the win in my opinion. The tall height paired with big muscles makes you look like an absolute beast. I hope there will be a shift towards taller phisiques honestly.
This is only a loss if you think the judges had a clue. You were the only one placing who wasn't fighting the steroid gut bloat best left in open. Those judges need their "classic" eyes checked and once again you don't get what you deserve because there is no consistency in judging what classic physique is. Keep fighting the good fight. Don't let them turn classic physique into "Mini-mass monsters".
Wes, you should have been first or second. The second place guy isn't Classic whatsoever. Too big in the upper body, no separation in the quads, blocky midsection with poor control in the transitions. He needs to go to Open. I think if you can continue to bring up the hamstrings, glutes, and low back, you'll be placing ahead of Terrence in the future. Your condition was great here. I also think changing a few poses to be more hip tilted a la Arnold would help display your physique, like the way Terrence hits his abs and thighs.

Congratulations! 3rd place ain't bad at all. Top four all looked really amazing. I have to disagree with many of the comments here and say your glutes look fine. I'm interested what your coach's feedback will be. The one suggestion I have, during the back double biceps, lift your heel up a bit more and try to emphasize the calf muscle a bit more.

That was a bit of a surprise-I feel 3rd place was harsh. It’s hard to tell watching the competition on a screen, but from my perspective I had Wesley scraping 1st place with the Brazilian chap in 2nd. Not an easy task separating them. You should have won. You looked insanely good and best shape out there. It’s like the judges didn’t even look at the fine details you’ve put into this physique and how those fine details were levels above the others.
I understand how Terrence wins on some individual points, but there's no denying Wesley just commands the stage, and has the most commanding presence among these guys. Good luck at the O!
I'm not a judge but I would like to help Wesley, I like his physic but from my opinion some weakness which could be improved : ---Some weakness : Genetics ones : - tall guy (less compact, hard to fill) - high lats (10:17) - width tight (a trick is to pose, the most as you can, by twisting your upper body as Arnold as the 1st 19:27) Other ones : - glutes (10:17, 13:45) - Soleus or achilles tendon seems to big (gastrocnemius does not pop up) China you be in the top 3.

His back double biceps is the pose that needs most work, because his glutes and hams don't keep up with his back and arms.

Leg improvements are amazing. Your physique is ideal. Don't get discouraged! If you keep going the judges will have to recognize you as champion one day. Many greats from the past stopped one show too soon! You are what classic should be.
I have to admit the Brazilian guy had a strong back, very big muscles, and well-defined lines. His legs were big as well, although not as sharp as yours Wesley. Overall, I think it's still a good enough place to be in the top 3, especially considering you already got the Olympia confirmation, so this wasn't so much of a necessary 1st place.

In my opinion you we're the most classic on stage, as well as most dry. I think ruff diesel was looking very small despite the weight increase allowed. You can only do your best & it's then down to the judges. Onwards to the olympiad keep up the great videos, stay golden 😊
Fabio is a good bodybuilder but I think he’s more suited for 212. He has a ton of quality muscle but lacks the aesthetics and posing that a classic physique requires.

Brother, he have 91 kg, 212 its equivalent as 96kg. He would have only 5kg to grow he would be "outmuscled" by tinny guys like Clarida that look like a mini Coleman.
He wouldnt be a really top tier bb on 212, he can be a great open. But cmon, open is WAY more dificult than any other category and the guys need to use lot more drug, training much heavier and eat like animals.
If he have the weight to do classic why he shouldnt? And why HE shouldnt win? The only rule is "do the weight" and he did.. Wesley was on great and have a great line, Fabio is more muscular, but both could win and no one would be mad. Buf Ruff really shouldv been third..

This is only a loss if you think the judges had a clue. You were the only one placing who wasn't fighting the steroid gut bloat best left in open. Those judges need their "classic" eyes checked and once again you don't get what you deserve because there is no consistency in judging what classic physique is. Keep fighting the good fight. Don't let them turn classic physique into "Mini-mass monsters".

Wes, you should have been first or second. The second place guy isn't Classic whatsoever. Too big in the upper body, no separation in the quads, blocky midsection with poor control in the transitions. He needs to go to Open.
I think if you can continue to bring up the hamstrings, glutes, and low back, you'll be placing ahead of Terrence in the future. Your condition was great here. I also think changing a few poses to be more hip tilted a la Arnold would help display your physique, like the way Terrence hits his abs and thighs.

I have to disagree with many of the comments here and say your glutes look fine. I'm interested what your coach's feedback will be.
The one suggestion I have, during the back double biceps, lift your heel up a bit more and try to emphasize the calf muscle a bit more.

That was a bit of a surprise-I feel 3rd place was harsh. It’s hard to tell watching the competition on a screen, but from my perspective I had Wesley scraping 1st place with the Brazilian chap in 2nd. Not an easy task separating them. I'm not a judge but I would like to help Wesley, I like his physic but from my opinion some weakness which could be improved :
---Some weakness :
Genetics ones :
- tall guy (less compact, hard to fill)
- high lats (10:17)
- width tight (a trick is to pose, the most as you can, by twisting your upper body as Arnold as the 1st 19:27)
Other ones :
- glutes (10:17, 13:45)
- Soleus or achilles tendon seems to big (gastrocnemius does not pop up)
