Yup. I do not sense any anger here either. Most of the time, what we have are doubts against our self. It makes us feel like hypocrites. It's good for us to get a clear reminder that it's the devil's whispers and not really how we feel. It's belief that makes us pray, give charity, and fear death. So trust ourselves and trust Allah.

    Hi night rider...
I don't think that in this case the sheikh is being angry. I think that this caller needed a stern(serious and unrelenting) answer. I am proud of the caller for calling for help and I think that he knows in his heart that this is the shaitan keeping his promise (Surah Al Araf ayah 16) that he will lay on the path and try to mislead anyone that he can but...only those who follow him will be misled. So the caller is calling for help and so he is not following the evil.
So proud of him! Keep turning away. We are told in islam that the evil shaitan sees us from angles that we do not see him. Our weaknesses show and I think that it is from the evil that we voice, do, and act on that we forget about but shaitan does not. Then he visits us and we think...oh my Allah...where is this coming from? I don't do this anymore but if it is coming to me then it must be a part of me. No its him reminding you. Seek refuge with Allah. Say, O Allah, I take refuge with You lest I should stray or be led astray, or slip or be tripped, or oppress or be oppressed, or behave foolishly or be treated foolishly. Slip: i.e. to commit a sin unintentionally.
You are going to be fine.🤲🏽🤲🏽🤲🏽

He likely is in fear of the consequences of leaving Islam: Being shunned and excluded from his community, friends and family, being attacked verbally or physically, and worse.
Just imagine you would tell everybody you know you would not believe in Islam anymore and instead convert to Hinduism oder Christianity, or be an atheist. I´m pretty sure you have no intention to do so but just imagine how your friends, your parents, your society would react and how they would treat you. Their reaction most likely would not be very relaxed. And this guy would face similar consequences, but for real because he actually DOES consider leaving Islam, he DID lose his faith. No wonder his voice is filled with fear.

If someone asks me, "Which creature can disturb and distract human being the most?" I would definitely say, "It's satan jinn". I am dealing with those disgusting creatures (I don't know if it's appropriate or not to call any creatures disgusting, because Allah has the reason to create it.) for nearly 10 years. Sometimes it feels like they are good jinn (it's because of their waswasa of course) and they want to do good to me, and then I realize good jinn will not interact with human. Keep the people like us who are constantly fighting with satan in your prayer brothers.

I have a good solution as of my experience with these doubts: Just ask shaytan or yourself to give proofs to disbelieve in islam and proofs to make it clear that Islam and its prophets and Allah and Muhammad pbuh are false.
Shaytan will never give you proof of them being wrong. But we have innumerable proofs to prove that Allah and his messenger are True.
So now the question is simple - would we choose to disbelieve in Allah and his messenger while we have no proof of them being false?
While on the other hand there are so many proofs of them being true.
A belief is a belief that should be backed up by proofs.
Even the disbelief of non-muslims is a belief that Allah and his messenger are false. Just ask any of them "How could you believe that Allah and his messengers are false? Give me proofs for your such belief" They will have no answers.
If they ask a muslim "How do you believe that Allah and his messenger are true? Give us proofs.
Then muslims have uncountable number of proofs available.
If you want to know some of them, reply me I will let you know In Sha Allah
