I love this song! My sister kept playing it last year at Christmas, and pretty soon I was singing it as much as her! We played it through the house over and over again while we were putting up decorations. ^_^ how can 22 people not love this song? my fav live in this song is "mettu christmas you arse i pray god its our last"! that was to my husband at the time who beat the crap out of me, it summed up christmas and my life and now is a reminder to me that things are better and i am now with my soul mate who would never lay a hand on me
it is funny, but that is not what makes this song so amazing. the humor is almost incidental. the true beauty of this song is the underlying meaning of the discourse between the couple. hopefully no one will need to deal with the emotions this song is expressing (although most will). the final verse is amazing and relevant to my own bad choices that i am biased as hell. the thing that makes me love this song is, its nails it, at a time when i was 8, and 20 years before i could relate.

Its sad when you think of what they were , but it is also uplifting , as they keep on arguing , perhaps resigned to their fate , but bound to one another if its sad then sadder things have happened , But i think its a great triumph how people struggle on
