Maruti Suzuki vehicles are reliable and long lasting. Yes it comes with lots of cons but one thing these vehicles are not meant for enthusiastic driving. I drive a 2017 Ertiga Zxi+ even today after each service they ask for feedback which is valued.

Mileage and build quality is inversionally proportional to each other. So if Maruthi is focusing on mileage then they won't improve the build quality. Also the cost of the vehicle also increases.

Iam using Fronx Delta Plus Turbo version, earlier i had Ford Figo.. I guess its a good update.. Apart from Body Quality and safety, everything else is so far so good..

Good discussion. Suzuki trying to do improve safety by introducing new generation platforms like heartect and C but due to high cost constraint they stick with the same plans for more than 9 years. If they produce new platforms to india, safety would be improved.

I have discussed with many Maruthi Workers!! Many preferred other brands!! You have to also accept people were more safety concious these days
Because the workers would mostly buy used car and suzuki's used cars are expensive comparing other brands.
I own a baleno. The engine will be peppy for other manufacturers too, if they decrease the weight. Maruti has been capturing the market, with this idealogy.. It's admirable that the competitors are not following this strategy.. Hyundai, honda and toyota are competing well in abroad markets where people give importance to quality.. Maruti has been capitalizing on lack of standards in India... Maruti has been lowering the quality, which is a bad move.. it's a matter of time, people realize this and stop buying maruti.. With my baleno, I am spending so much on body issues.. I'm starting to realize that it's a fake car..

Mileage will not save our life ....build quality and safety is prime importance you should be alive to drive the car i have witnessed a accident in high way a tipper and trailer met with accident and fell on Fiat linea four members were safe without any injuries and the car body is built like a tank ... people miss good cars of this kind and run behind maruthi and chase away good cars

Hi, the issue is why badge engineering, JV should bring products like hycross and grand vitara. Instead this remuion /Ertiga, glanza/Baleno, hycross/invicto are of no use in markets where both are available.

Do you want a very very rudimentary car? Just a 4 wheeler, but not a car? Then, go for Maruti Suzuki. You will get a good resale value and that's all.
Indians didn't buy good Maruti cars like Kizashi, SX4, S-Cross etc.
Mileage? No. All cars give good mileage these days. Even Skoda/VW cars give 25 kmpl if driven at 70-80 kmph for 100+ kilometers. Tested.
Then, why a Maruti Suzuki? Big question!

I am also a user of Maruti Swift zxi+ it is very good on mileage but built quality is worst. I sold the same in the month of april 2023 and bought TAta tigor LP petrol variant XZ+ built quality is good but lagging in mileage and service. Even i have not done 2nd service. After seeing the tigor review i purchased

If Suzuki is having such a strong sales and network, why can’t they bit improve built quality and build trust among Indian customers. Many ppl are avoiding Suzuki just because of very poor built quality and safety. Whatever finally life and safety is predominant.

All grip variant is all wheel drive, it can't give mileage more than 2W Vitara, as power is split and sent equally to all 4 wheels, transmission loss and therefore less mileage.

1. I feel this video is more biased towards Maruti Suzuki. The title of the video is Maruti Suzuki Pros and Cons, but this video is more of a pros for Maruti.
2. A debate is a discussion between people with different opinions about something. But in this debate, there is no opposition side, which makes this video meaningless. Because both of them love Maruti. How can they speak unprejudiced discussion?
3. I can understand you are trying something new. But you should choose the correct title. For this video, Discussion is more apt than Debate.
4. My feeling is, that Birla sir neenga mattum indha video panna nalla irukum only for this kind of video.
If anyone has any misconceptions about my view, the comment box is yours.

I am a Maruti Wagon R Automatic car user. There is absolutely no second opinion about its smoothness, refined engine ride etc. Of course mileage is ahead of its competitors. But all these positives are predominantly for city or st best suburbs drive. Once you step out and commence your journey on a highway, all these factors don't count much. Above all one should be alive to enjoy all the positivity of a car. Maruti fails in this count. You can't count luck alone while driving on a highway. It's high time Maruti improves its safety rating. Now Barath NCAP is on the anvil let's see how it performs.

on highways occasionally... Long trip more than 650kms on a single day. Its too comfortable at the speeds upto 100km/ hr. Tireless driving and spacious cabin and boot make every trip enjoyable.
Nice to hear. I used to drive Trichy very often. The driving experience is great. Comfort level and engine smoothness mileage all are fine. I have mentioned in the comment itself. Just a small hit is enough to damage the car immensely. You believe it or not, my relative who owned a Swift car and was on the highway near Nanguneri. Suddenly a two wheeler crashed straight into the car. Result? Severe dent in the front. You lose confidence. That's the biggest concern. Unfortunately we, India have the hero worshipping tendency and side tracks when it comes to safety. Make no mistakes, Maruti comes poor in this regard.
Europe and other region ku manufacturer pandra car oda steel grade may different. There is no value in advertising with same result.
