The Chosen People - Rabbi Yaakov Asher Sinclair

  • "...and indeed it is a Land that flows with milk and honey..." (13:27) God gave the Land of Israel for a specific purpose. Are we using the Land for that purpose? As of January 2025, The state of Louisiana will require public schools to display the Ten Commandments in every classroom. Said State’s Republican governor, Jeff Landry, “If you want people to respect the rule of law you’ve got to start from the original lawgiver, which was Moses.” It seems that the State of Louisiana remembers something that the State of Israel has forgotten.
Another masterpiece by Rabbi Yaakov Asher Sinclair.
Rabbi Yaakov Asher Sinclair is a lecturer in Talmudic logic and Jewish Philosophy at the Ohr Somayach/Tanenbaum College of Judaic studies in Jerusalem.

Thank you, Harav Sinclair, for this vid - every word is so spot on!
Your description of the chillul Hashem on Kol Nidrei night in Tel Aviv was chilling. Hashem's response was not long in coming - the Shemini Atzeret-Simchat Torah massacre.
After the recent unanimous vote by the Supreme Court to force all yeshiva bochurim to be drafted and to stop any funding to yeshivas who don't comply, my fear is that we are in for an even harder blow. The SC decision affects the very heart of the Torah community in Eretz Yisrael - far more serious than attacking Kol Nidrei services.
The teshuva movement that began with the massacre continues, baruch Hashem. May it continue to grow and grow exponentially until we can merit the geula with mercy.

I work in Telaviv Hi-Tech. I see Jews trying to be better Jews all over Israel.
Hahem is extremely kind and generous.
This is the message I would like to express for Shabbat Parshat Shlach.

Rabbi, I love your insights and reflections. You definitely hit the nail on the head each time. However, and taking into account the imperfections of our actions as you have described here, would you do another video describing the great things this State of Israel has done since its founding? Much appreciation for your words.
Also, do you have a podcast on Apple Podcasts or another platform. I can listen to you for ours. You speak to my soul. Shalom ❤

While I love the overreaching message of this...I'm going to call it a sermon...I think the central theme is one hundred percent on the money. However on one point I am going to disagree. You ascribe divine intervention as the deciding factor that allowed Hamas to miraculously circumvent all the military and security apparatus of the state and to succeed in raining down so much terror on the Jewish people.....
I think there is another explanation, and in military terms it is called a "green flag". I believe that the failings were orchestrated. US intelligence services say they warned Israel months ahead of this attack, and I believe they didn't even need a foreign country's intel to know what was coming....individuals in senoir positions knew what Hamas was planning I believe, and that allowed them to ensure a large measure of success for Israel's enemies......you still don't know how these failures came to pass because the same individuals who allowed these failures are the ones who do the investigating into the failures.
But that aside, your message about Israel's place as a holy nation, one that is to be dedicated to follwoing HaShem and to serve as a beacon to the world...all I can say is amen, amen and for good measure amen.

    • @YK-lj6tu
      @YK-lj6tu 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

Interesting about "green flag" - but even if the failing were orchestrated, they were ultimately, ultimately orchestrated by Hashem. He gave the "green light" to the "green flag"...

Man stopped seeking, Man still thinks it was God who told Abraham to sacrifice his son to test his faith.
Simple Truth given by God, testing is for those who don't know or trying to find out God knows what we will do before we do it otherwise there would be no prophecy . God is not the monster men worship an think, he is not jealous nor does ne condemn he is always teaching an in truth is are only teacher.
Many Religions pride has led them astray for love is not for the few which is a lack of love.
All evil and wickness comes from ignorance and or not knowing the truth of love lack of love misplaced love an manipulation of love,
This is not a belief but can be tested an meant to be known.
Blood sacrifice always has an always will be of darkness an not of God.
God is life an he who has life is not apart from God,
We must learn his voice especially in these days for if God is saying stop we must stop otherwise it could be too late.
He who has a ear let them hear.
For the time of the lord is at hand
    Love All =You Greatly

Also God does not get angry or fear nor needs hope like men.
Anger hope fear is for those not in control or doesn't know.
For one who nows what will happen an will be the how an the why, is past those things.
You are right man does not follow God's ways an no religion or nation has yet.
Love is the reason all have life an what your here to learn
Man is not better than any other life but is special like all life.

One thing Jews might not realize is that their status as the 'chosen people' was not unconditional. The condition was that they would spread the religion of God, specifically monotheism, to the world. Unfortunately, they interpreted this status as open-ended. After attempting to kill Jesus, the final Messiah sent to them, God shifted the responsibility of spreading His religion from the children of Israel to the children of Ishmael, as mentioned in chapters 17 of the Quran. Therefore, Muslims are now chosen to carry the responsibility of spreading the religion of God, which includes the teachings of Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus, and the last and final prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon them all). Jews should understand God's creation plan and recognize that the final prophet sent to them was Jesus, and they must accept him. They don’t need to accept Christianity because Christianity is another sect like Judaism or Shia or Sunni. The religion of God as said in the Quran is Islam , see 2:130-132 & 3:67 . The religious identity of all prophets and Massiya was always Islam. Judaism is a tribal identity. Christianity is an identity of a school of thought , Shia and Sunni are also identities of political groups within Islam .

Jews are the chosen people of G-d unconditionally after Avraham was chosen as a first Jew. Jews come from Avraham and his wife Sarah, not from the servant Hagar like Ishmael Ishmaels descendants brought nothing except bloodshed to the world, for some reason noone can enter their land and come out alive, Islam is a religion of a sword that teaches to be barbarians, Jews are people of the Book

Jewish brother and sisters need to reflect on Yeshua from a non defensive and level headed place to make a much needed tikkun for the sake of unification, this will hep bring the jewish people and the world in to alignment with the light, illuminate and bring the fulfilment of judaism and realise the purpose of life to become united with God.

    • @janishart5128

Uhhh.....NO!! You need to realize, research, and accept that NOWHERE did God ever mention the "Yeshua/Jesus" character to us, NOWHERE did He tell us that we need to be "saved", and NOWHERE did He tell us that He requires HUMAN BLOOD (a purely pagan ritual!!) as atonement for our sins!
Go peddle your pagan idolatry ELSEWHERE - "Christianity/Messianic Christianity" absolutely did NOT come from God, and it blasphemously preaches AGAINST what He said to us at Mt. Sinai!! There is NOTHING you can gaslight us with, since we have been learning from the Orthodox Rabbis, as commanded by God in Deut. 17:8-11. In the absence of the Temple, the Rabbis are our spiritual teachers, since they (and ONLY THEY!!) have been studying the original Hebrew, all the way back to Mt. Sinai.
PLEASE buy a Hebrew Bible (says "Stone Edition TANACH" or "Koren Edition TANACH" on the cover, and Rabbi Tovia Singer's books "Let's Get Biblical - Why Doesn't Judaism Accept the Christian Messiah?", and Rabbi Stuart Federow's book "Judaism and Christianity: A Contrast", to help you understand why Christianity absolutely did NOT come from God.
