Rabbi Wein is like fine wine. I have listened to his lectures for 20 years. He flows with wisdom and insight. A true kiddish Hashem. Bless you Rabbi. May you have many more years to give us.
The Jewish people are the chosen people in science وَلَقَدِ اخْتَرْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿٣٢﴾ 44/32. And truly WE chose them (the children of Israel) for knowledge above all humans
Pls. To the Jewish people, be proud of who you are and what you were called for, I’m not Jewish but I feel very proud of who you are and the privilege of you being the chosen people for the greatest purpose. Bless Israel oh God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You are a blessing to us. The whole world owes to you. Be strong.
Rabbi Wein has been such an inspiration for me over the years. This interview just solidified my utmost respect and gratitude for him and his family. Such koach. Please be well and have long, healthy life! 🇮🇱
What a great interview and what a special man with so much wisdom.I'm not Jewish ,but Christian.I loved this for the context and content.Thankyou .....with love.
Israel is about (if I have calculated right) 0.0148% of the visible land area of the earth. Why can't this little land be given to such a fantastic people like the jews.
As a Christian Igbo man (a tribe in Nigeria), I identify with the Jews spiritually. I listen to and connect well with the Rebbe's messages. I have bought many Chassidic and Kabbalah books and believe I can learn a thing or two from these great people.
Wrong. Kabbala is demonic and not from God. These comes not from the Thora but from Talmudy book. The Thora is given and that's it. So be careful what you are wrighting. Maybe you must explore what is from God and what is not.
Thank you for that interview it was much needed I love when he said that we live in our generation I was feeling a depressed Rabbi Wein lifted my spirit with his words
STRONG - Rabbi Wein has been and remains one of the no nonsense voices of authentic Torah Judaism. I love his message of "Don't be relevant, be eternal" We need more of his common sense. Thank you once again for another important interview. Yasher Koach.
JEALOUSY, THAT'S WHAT THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE FEEL!! BUT WE SURVIVED AND CONTINUE TO SURVIVE BY THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE !!! HALLELUJAH!!! BARUCH HASHEM!!!
Rabbi Wein quotes one of my favorite sayings, "How odd of G-d to choose the Jews." It continues, "It's not odd, the Jews chose G-d." Excellent episode, thank you to Yaakov Langer, the most wonderful interviewer, for this podcast.
I loved this podcast ... It was Strong 💪 filled with common sense and a well spring of wisdom. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Living Lchaim. Am Yisrael Chai. 💜🌎🕊️🔯🇮🇱🌅 Ps. Pls tell Rabbi Wein. Time doesn't change but everything changes in time ... Even hatred can be transmuted into love. We just have to believe it. Blind faith produces miracles. Cause and effect.😊
This makes me miss my grandparents. There's nothing like the words of the wise/our elders and betters.Very well done and interesting. All your videos are great, it wld be good to have more knowledgable, grounded, common sense interviews like this.Thank you!
R' Berel Wein shlita is one of the greatest assets the Jewish people possess. Though I've never met the man, I have personally benefitted countless times from his vast knowledge, deadpan honesty and wonderful understated sense of humor. His numerous books, including seforim on sugyos hashas, are treasures. They include a trilogy on Jewish history, Faith and Fate, a book about the Tannaim and another on the Amoraim and several others all are indispensable tools that also make history come alive. His hundreds of lectures on all areas of history, videos of each decade of this past century, and even children's historical videos about Rashi and the Rambam are top shelf. Wishing Rabbi Wein many more happy years in good health and wealth. SS A greatful fan from Lakewood NJ
I am very happy to hear this. But this is WOW WOW WOW MT. HERMON. What a wonderful gift from the LORD. In spite of the protests and violence, it's a story that the world needs to hear. If you told a Jew in a Natzi concentration camp that in a few years Israel 🇮🇱 will once again be established they would think you nuts. KOOMAH ADONAI SHALOM 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱.
I totally agree❤ l would like to go to lsrael some day. I would only hope l would be accepted there, among my sisters and brothers. We all have differnt personalities the job of getting along in peace, is the same all over!😮😢😂😅😊
Rabbi Wein quoted the short poem “How odd of Gd to choose the Jews” I’ve heard a supplement that poem: “it wasn’t odd, the Jews chose Gd” We chose Him in return, the other nations rejected Him. That’s why we’re the Chosen Nation.
Spirits-- never die. My old pastor use to say. They move out, of deceased bodies into live ones. Be filled with god's spirit. Greater is he thats " in" me, than he thats -- in the world! -- new testament!❤😂😅😊🎉
Just a foot note for such a small population and their incredible contribution to humanity. Jewish people make up less than ¹/10 th of 1% of the worlds population Today world population is 15.3 million. Prior to the war Jewish population was 16.5 million..we have yet to recover in 80 years. I am so very very proud to be a Jewish woman
We are supposed to be anticipating the coming of Moshiach right now! I'm very disappointed in Rabbi Wein's response. The anticipation for Moshiach should be on our lips and in our minds every waking moment! 50 years from now? Moshiach is coming immediately!
Messiah Loves you, he’s desperate for you go to him all who are weary and are heavy laden and he will give you rest. Take his yoke upon you and learn from him, for he is gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For his yoke is easy and his burden is light. ❤
Are.we good? Are we bad? The neshama is good and wants to attach us to.G-d. Our body is earth and pulls us down. If we give I to the yetzer we become evil. This is not a question of why. It is clear from every torah book we read
What a strong ending for your interviewee. So ‘dry’ and so Jewish.
“Don’t just be relevant, be eternal”. That’s unforgettable.
Thank you…
Thank you for this STRONG episode! I love "Don't be relevant, be eternal"!

I am a wandering/wondering Jewish woman .. and "Don't be relevant, be eternal.." spoke to me at the root of my existence. Thank you.

It already was by G-d!
❤❤❤❤ISRAEL❤❤❤❤
Israel is about the size of the state of New Jersey in the US, one of our smaller states.
This is an important video. Wonder how popular it will be
The God of Israel already gave the land to them. But their God’s enemies hate His people, want to steal their land, and want to get rid of them.
Thank you Rabbi for sharing your thoughts.
Thank you Rabbi Wein. Educate a child when he is young. We're benefiting from your wise emunah based perspective. Much health and nachas!!

Rabbi Wein is the best.
The more I know about Jews the more I feel inspired.
Old enemies of Abraham with different names today!! The evil continues.

Willful ignorance = deliberate selfishness.
