I got to admit, the depiction of Mega City One seemed more comic accurate in the 90's movie but the Block War in Dredd was also damn good for the small scale.
2000 A.D Deserves its due more. There are a lot of good stories in there that need sharing and flushing out. Dredd was one of the best but there were others that were tippy top notch too.

Asking all the Dredd nerds out there - Where is a good place to start reading the comics? I love the 2012 Dredd and I do realize the comics are more of a satirical take.
California and New York City combined. Have you seen the recent pictures and videos of the subway system in NY? The flooding is terrible, the infrastructure is not maintained yet it’s a state that has the highest tax rate.
The thing is the judges have never oppressed any one they are free to do as they wish within the law. No one is forced to any thing no one is told what they must do or what work they have to take up.
Well that's the daily life of people who live in mega city one shitty yes but you got some entertainment that's something in the bright side you don't get your jaw broken by a judge.

I wish we had a Dredd movie/show universe! Dredd was such an underrated movie. Lots of possibilities for this universe.
Their are rumours are Karl Urban coming back to play Judge Dredd inna 1off Mega City One film which would work
They’ve been talking about a show for a couple of yrs now but there hasn’t been much progress if any at all.
A Mega City One series connected to the 2012 film got announced like 6 years ago but there’s been no progress on it since then

Yeah. Max Tac are pretty much the Judges in Cyberpunk. Operating on a whole other level than the standard police force.
