I raced Jim Clark this week on iRacing. Was disappointed, he was only marginally faster than me. So I am basically a 2 time F1 champion.
Old Jimmy didn't take to sim racing as well as we all thought he would after dominating Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart.
By that rationale there are thousands of multiple F1 champions.

Considering early access, I’ve been impressed by the game so far. Issues…yes of course but the cars, circuits, handling, sound are just great. Loving the experience so far 😊

Been really enjoying watching the Lemons Ultimate videos. The fact you can actually fix a car and not just knock the carbon fibre back into shape and the idea that it evaluates an off track rather than just slapping you with a penalty really adds to the experience.

Been binging lmu since it came out, one thing I'm really impressed with that I havent seen mentioned is how populated online is and how easy it is to get into a race

For some reason I feel like an alien for once in my life when I race the LMP2 at spa online. I can punch out 2:07’s lap after lap either that or I keep getting paired with slower drivers 1-2 seconds a lap slower than me.

Been enjoying the hell out of this game. Breathe of fresh air for a more casual sim driver. Great pick up n play while still feeling like a sim. Tires feel a bit floaty tho, I assume that’s what ppl mean when they compare it to rfactor
I'm considering buying it, the only racing sim I have is AC & I rarely feel drawn to it, I don't race online & the AI on AC are dangerous.
after more drivetime since i made this comment. I still love it, acc for me is the goat for GT cars (i havent played iracing tho) so for me i dont enjoy the feeling gt cars produce in LMU. BUTTTT, the Lmp2 and Hypercars absolutely make up for it for me@@geehammer1511

Well technically, its the official game of the WEC so its got the whole schedule and roster (as you'd expect from a licensed title).

i got a wheel yesterday and LMU was the first game i have ever tried in the SIM world. Sure i have no rig or anything like that, but its a start and the game so far has been really good

@@Burntoilcoffee I had a stand up wheel and pedal setup at one of my old jobs on the standing desks many many years ago to play gt5 online when the manager went home and I was left to "lock up" the store. I got pretty good back in the day considering I was standing and basically balancing all my weight on my left leg for over an hour as I used my right for accel and brake. Was mental now I look back but every other day I was taking home a few wins online

I use a bedside drawer unit stripped down for the wheel, it works great because it's just wide enough and it's light so I can move it to & from the sofa.

Tip for anyone struggling with the slide: disable autoblip and autolift it will change your life. Seriously gained me almost 2 seconds just cause the car becomes predictable.

I get dive bombed a lot in the corners but I'm still new to sim racing so I don't have to skill for a proper defend but I really do like how it feels
I just did my first ever online race on this game as well as any racing game on a sim rig and i did better than i thought i would i qualified middle of the pack but then got rear ended and taken out so finished 13th after a few dnfs
Sometimes I wonder how hes so good, but then I remember hes a real racing driver
I swear every TH-camr has taken the Porsche in these GTE fixed races. Meanwhile the Ferrari 488 is casually 1.5 seconds a lap quicker apparently.

Some feedback on the editing: the music is a little too invasive at points, often made me wonder if I had music playing in another app. Consider toning it down/letting the engine noise shine through.

Hope this game dose well man hopefully they will add a lil mode with menus like gt7 I would like a different mode but prolly cant add a full championship to the game for single player/co op.... and then hopefully they will port it over to playstation 4 and 5 for everyone to enjoy that's not TH-cam famous lol Mr.brordbent!

I’ve seen a few of these videos on this game. And the game graphically, and sounds amazing. Not quite sure about how the physics are. I’ve heard other TH-camr’s say it feels quite numb
In my experience with rfactor2, the ffb is great, but it's hindered by a stupid smoothing algorithm they added in one update. If you turn smoothing to minimum, it's better than iracing imo.
I think the game has huge potential. It just runs like such shit that I couldn't be arsed to deal with it.

This game made me keep my steering wheel, I was ready to sell it and save up for a 7 string guitar. But man, these cars feel so alive and are incedibly fun to drive. I never had so much fun in acc or other sims, and forza disappointed me so much. I hope the devs manage to fix all major issues and the game survives as it is so much potential there.
just down tune your 6 string to A or lower you don't need so much strings most of the time trust me, I just bought an 8 string
I've always loved rfactor2 for the same reason, it's such a bummer that so many people turn away due to the issues it has
@@AleksandrRudiak I do it like this with my digitech drop, but I wanted this one to be for drop tunings and 7 string for standard (I have a floyd rose), but for that driving experience it is worth to drop that e every time haha.
@@RexRacing the only real problem I encountered was a strange bug where I would get a drive through during a rolling start for passing a car I did not pass. Besides that and some minor issues like the ui having a delay or laggy loading into an online session, this game is pure fun. Some people say it is rf2.5, but even if they are right, this is not a bad thing at all. The physics are great and even driving alone in practice for an hour is so engaging. Never understood the hate for this game, some folks just can't read as it clearly says early access...
@@morko5150 8 string is my second guitar and when i bought it i understood that i will never get enough guitars for every tuning i want. I probably need like 3 or 4 more guitars and pitch shifter for everything i want to play😂

I simmed it. Its not bad, but its not good either. First off its a surround view sim race game. The audio is bugged. There is no real true surround sound. What you were being scared by is a normal occurrence. The field of view is bugged out almost. Its like you are viewing the race from a camera on the drivers chest. Good thing about the game is the UI isn't cluttered with absolute garbage. Tire physics are almost spot on. Steering angles are good when set up correctly. Its is a fun game. The worst thing about the game is the AFK players. OMG, a quarter of them dont even start the race. DQ's need to be enstated. There are WAAAAAAAAAY too many Forza rammers in this game. When you get a lobby of racers that like to race and behave themselves though, its a pretty awesome game.
