Maybe a strange question, but what I’m wondering about is, is it easy to go to a market like this, when you don’t speak Thai at all? Do they understand English or is it hard to communicate with the vendors? I want to go to Thailand really bad, but I’m afraid they won’t understand me…..please someone tell me….🙏🏽😘
Most people don't really understand English, especially in rural areas. But with hand gestures, you should be fairly fine👍You can also go to some touristy famous markets like JJ market or Asiatique in Bangkok, most people there can understand simple English. Or last solution, find young looking people, there is a higher chance they have learned English and would be able to help! Thailand always welcome you🥰
