Another great video Trenton with some really clear video quality and lots of interesting shots, especially of the planter working and others where we also see you in the frame. Was great to see the old CASE 870 working at the raking, as I love seeing the old equipment still able to play its part in day to day farming. Thanks from Scotland.
Trenton . . . I express my respect to you for your work ethic and your commitment to dad/family for all you do. I love your personality and the talents you are developing. God bless you and much brotherly love to you.
Thanks Trenton! Agri King on the prowl( plow?) in the open air on the tedder...lookin'/soundin' good...in beartiful farm country! Thank ya'll for 🐄🐄🐄farmin', feedin' and fixin' 🇺🇸 !!
Lol, I was noticing that too on the turning radius from the before videos of you planting. Also, that view, to be able to wake up every morning to the view of the mountains, jealous haha.
My Dad and my uncle both had 870's so I got time with both. I like how they sound no other tractor has a sound as cool. I thought that 870 could pull anything. Was our biggest tractor when i was young.
We planted alfalfa after corn last fall. It stayed dry and didn’t grow hardly any. Replanted it in the spring, less than satisfactory results. Come to find out that the pH in the field was 4.5. So we killed what was left, spread lime and planted corn. Expensive pioneer alfalfa seed on top of that.
Zip ties - the new baling wire! ( Your too young to know that stuff, but your Dad probably does), except you can't use zip ties on exhaust pipes!🤣🤣 Great video, Spring is wot time! 15 different things all need doing at the same time.👍👍
Usually a couple of weeks after planting. We try to avoid spraying twice if we can on the tilled ground. If you spray it late enough the corn will get tall enough and shade the weeds and keep them from growing.
Glad planting is going well. Do you enjoy farming more than working with the cows, or about even with them. Are you thinking about going to college and perhaps studying agriculture..you seam to know a lot already.
Good day of corn planting Trenton now if the weather will stay nice you can get the rest planted.
Great video. Pioneer corn. Expensive but good.
Thank you! You got that right, it is expensive.

Another good one Trenton always keep some zip ties with you
Been running def in JD and Ford for11 or 12 years and have never had an issue. Use over 330 gallons a year
Congrats, you're the one person on earth that hasn't had an issue with def lol
When will you spray to kill the ground cover?

When you plant into no till, will the corn plants eventually shade out and kill the weeds and alfalfa? Nice video. Thanks
Thank you! We spray the alfalfa and weeds after we plant.

Don’t have any intentions on going to college. I’d say I prefer the field work over the cows but to me a farm is not a farm without cattle.
Once you get a girlfriend she can ride in tractor with you

Might have to take that into consideration. Not sure if they make a kit for this particular model.
